Since 1997, I have been treating clients with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions & all associated issues. I am licensed in Florida, Texas, California & Hawaii. As well as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. I have maintained private practices in FL, TX & CA. In addition, I worked at the Renfrew Center in Coconut Creek, FL & Los Angeles, CA, Cedar Springs Austin and ERC. It is my belief that an important piece of treatment & recovery is utilizing a multi-disciplinary treatment team to address the individual needs of each client.
Together, we will identify your challenges and goals - where you want your life to be a month, six months, a year from now. Then, we'll identify options and strategies you can use to get there. You'll leave the session with a better understanding of what you're facing with an "actions I can take right now" approach. There will always be room for suggestions concerning our work together, including keeping each other accountable.
As a clinician, I prefer to engage in a collaborative therapeutic relationship. I often assess for what level the client is entering therapy and utilize an eclectic approach that will match their current level of functioning and goals.
