Doctors, nurses, teachers, mental health professionals, social workers, clergy, and high-powered executives face unique challenges that affect their professional, home, and personal lives. Burnout can lead to absenteeism, substance abuse, physical and mental health issues and a host of other problems. I specialize in providing help to individuals whose jobs require the most from them. Through a science based, research backed, holistic approach we work together to find the tools to return to your best self so that you, your family, employer, and those you provide care for can continue to benefit from your rich care and experience. While I have been researching and working with individuals coping with burnout for twenty years, I continue to provide counseling for people suffering from anger issues, depression, and anxiety. My approach is holistic and features the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and a deep respect for your own spiritual worldview.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I am a teacher at heart and my goal is to teach you the skills you need to walk consistently towards resilience. We work together to create concrete goals and systematic methodologies to work steadily towards betterment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Teaching is a big part of what I enjoy and what I do. I have found great joy in helping others create and actively work on goals that bring them closer to a sense of peace and mental wellness. My experience as a martial arts teacher has given me insight in to meditation, mindfulness, and ways that we can begin to take an active role in alleviating the suffering in our lives.
