Hi there, I'm Ladonna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker supporting clients in Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland. I have experience providing crisis intervention for a crisis line and providing psychotherapy services to children, adults, and families in private practice, schools, nonprofit outpatient clinics, and a local government agency. I meet my clients where they are at using an eclectic approach, pulling from multiple evidence-based therapy practices.
In your first session with me, you can expect to share your history. I want to hear your story and the symptoms you are experiencing, as well as your expectations of therapy, and the goals you would like to accomplish during your time in therapy. You will leave the session feeling heard and ready to take the necessary steps for healing.
When working with my clients, I ensure I create a space where they feel comfortable sharing their deepest thoughts and concerns. I take a person-centered approach, empowering clients to understand their experiences, obtain a greater self-awareness, and foster resilience.
I work with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, career changes, school-related concerns, and relationship or attachment issues. I support clients navigating emotional challenges, stress, and personal growth by helping them build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier patterns that support long-term well-being, stability, confidence, and resilience in their daily lives.

Ladonna stood out to me because she was a younger provider who looked similar to me. It is relaxing to talk to someone who may have a better understanding of the social struggles that I’m currently facing. She has done a wonderful job of keeping me accountable at a pace that works for me and doesn’t make me feel rushed. Our sessions truly do feel like her focus is on helping me achieve the life and stress-free mental that I’ve been yearning for.
