About me

Welcome! Congratulations on taking the courageous first step of seeking out a therapist. It is an act of bravery and courage to explore what is impacting you or your child. Contacting a therapist can feel intimidating and overwhelming, but I hope you will take a minute (and maybe a few deep breaths) to see how I can help. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, or significant life transitions.I have been working in the mental health field for over 7 years, including over 4 years in a residential treatment setting treating children struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, and PTSD, as well as other diagnoses. I utilize TF-CBT, mindfulness, and other modalities in my practice. Thank you for considering me to be a part of your journey!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session typically focuses on building rapport and completing a biopsychosocial assessment. Goals are also identified in the first session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist trained in trauma-focused CBT, I recognize that stressful experiences impact each individual differently, emerging in emotional and physical health, relationships, and sense of self and safety. I aim to create genuine therapeutic alliances with my clients and families.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, or significant life transitions. I am best positioned to serve clients who are seeking a safe, supportive space to process difficult experiences and to begin healing. Many of the people I work with describe feeling overwhelmed, “stuck,” or disconnected from themselves and others. Some are navigating painful life events such as divorce, grief, or strained relationships, while others are managing ongoing stress, PTSD, or feelings of anxiety and depression. I work well with clients who are open to exploring their emotions and experiences, even if it feels uncomfortable at first. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, focusing on helping clients gain insight into how their past experiences shape their present, while also developing concrete coping strategies for day-to-day challenges. Whether your goal is to reduce anxiety, improve relationships, build resilience, or feel more at peace with yourself, I offer a trauma-informed and personalized approach to help you move forward.
