Choosing a therapist is a significant step. Thank you for considering me. I believe everyone possesses unique strengths, and therapy can empower you to harness those strengths to overcome challenges like anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. By exploring your thoughts and behaviors, you can unlock your full potential and live a more fulfilling life. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you on this journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our initial session, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of how therapy can help. We'll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, explore your background, and collaboratively define your goals. I believe in a partnership approach where your active participation is key to achieving positive change.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

It's an honor to be a therapist. After 17 years as a business professional and raising a family, I embarked on this fulfilling career path. For the past 15 years, I've helped individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with empathy and understanding. I believe in creating a judgment-free space where you can feel safe to explore your concerns and receive objective guidance.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

For over 14 years, I've been helping clients understand the core principle of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): our thoughts, feelings, and actions are interconnected. It's a process of learning to identify those automatic thoughts that may be holding us back, challenge their validity, and ultimately replace them with more helpful ones. This journey of changing our thinking patterns can lead to profound and lasting changes in our lives.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In our world of constant distractions, finding time for focused attention can feel like a luxury. Yet, research shows that cultivating mindfulness – even in short bursts – can significantly reduce anxiety and boost our sense of calm. As a certified practitioner and daily advocate, I've experienced this firsthand.

Existential

The quest for meaning is a universal human experience, filled with both exhilaration and uncertainty. It's easy to get caught up in the daily grind and lose sight of the bigger picture. Through existential therapy, I help clients navigate these questions, often uncovering hidden aspirations and forgotten goals along the way.
