Hello! I have almost 30 years experience in the mental health field. I have worked with individuals and families struggling and with depression, anxiety, life transitions, self esteem issues and more. I specifically find meaningful work with families in the LGBTQ community who have difficulty navigating life in this world of hate and prejudice. Life transitions such as losing a partner, a job, moving or becoming an empty nester are examples of other issues that I have guided my clients through over the years. I am open to helping anyone who wants to make changes to have a more meaningful and happier life!
Clients can expect a warm and nurturing environment to grow and learn. We will explore their individual goals together. I will gain a better insight by exploring their family and their history.
I will cater my sessions to my clients goals. I always convey to my clients that their time with me is for them to discover their strengths and goals. In the years that I have been a therapist I have worked with individuals from all different backgrounds and issues. I provide a safe and nurturing space to work on themselves.
An ideal client for my practice is someone is motivated to make positive changes, open to exploring future goals, and willing to actively engage in the process of personal growth. They are receptive to feedback and prepared to actively participate in the change in process. Together, we will work collaboratively toward meaningful goals. There are no clients that experience life in the same way and therefore goals are individually tailored,
