In the first session, I will introduce myself and answer any questions that you may have. I like to get you know who you are, your core values, and reasons for seeking counseling. I generally will have some questions about your family history and accomplishments you have made within your lifetime.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am able to provide therapy to clients across the life span. I respect the inherent worth of each person. I look forward to learning more about your unique cultural, spiritual and religious beliefs as this can influence who you are. My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is evidence-based and has been consistently shown to be effective for conditions like anxiety and depression. It’s my go-to approach because it helps people develop healthier thinking patterns that lead to lasting change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Let’s get down to the reason you’re seeking therapy in the first place. I take a straightforward but supportive approach that empowers you to decide what works best for you. You know yourself better than anyone. I'm here to help you tap into that.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their own reasons for change and build confidence in their ability to make it happen! It’s a collaborative, non-judgmental approach that really respects where people are at.
