About me

I’m a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic-oriented therapist who works in a warm, relational, and insight-driven way. I help clients understand the deeper emotional patterns, internal conflicts, and early experiences that shape how they feel and respond today. My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and a belief that real change comes from understanding the meaning behind our struggles—not just managing symptoms. In our work together, I pay attention to the themes that show up in your relationships, your history, and even in the therapeutic relationship itself. These patterns often hold the key to why certain feelings or situations keep repeating. By exploring them at a comfortable pace, we create room for clarity, emotional relief, and lasting growth. Clients come to me for help with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, family conflict, self-esteem, and difficult life transitions. I offer a thoughtful, steady space where you can explore your inner world, strengthen your sense of self, and move toward a more authentic and meaningful life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a conversation that’s thoughtful, steady, and genuinely focused on understanding what brings you in. I won’t rush you or push for details before you’re ready. Instead, I’ll invite you to share what you’ve been experiencing, what feels most difficult right now, and what you hope will be different. I’ll ask questions to help us understand the emotional patterns behind your struggles—how long they’ve been present, what triggers them, and how they show up in your relationships and daily life. You’ll also get a sense of how I work: warm, engaged, and curious, with an emphasis on helping you feel safe enough to explore deeper layers at your own pace. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer picture of what you’re looking for and how we might work together. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, less alone, and hopeful about the path forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is my ability to help clients understand themselves on a deeper emotional level. I’m skilled at seeing the patterns, themes, and unspoken feelings that often sit beneath the surface, and I bring those into the work in a way that feels safe and grounding. Clients often tell me that I understand them in ways they’ve never experienced before. My approach is steady, relational, and deeply attentive. I listen not just to what you say, but how you say it, what you avoid, and what repeats in your relationships and internal world. This helps uncover the roots of anxiety, depression, conflict, and self-doubt—so change becomes real and lasting, not temporary. Another strength is my calm, non-judgmental presence. I can sit with complexity, confusion, or pain without rushing you or needing quick fixes. I help you make sense of your inner world, recognize your emotional patterns, and move toward a more grounded and authentic version of yourself.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with people who are thoughtful, self-aware, and tired of repeating the same emotional patterns. If you’ve noticed that anxiety, sadness, or relationship conflicts keep showing up in familiar ways—and you want to finally understand why—I’m the right therapist for you. My clients are often people who appear strong on the outside but feel overwhelmed or uncertain inside, who sense that old experiences still influence their present life, even if they can’t fully explain how. You may be in a life transition, feeling disconnected, or trying to make sense of who you are and what you want. You may be carrying emotional or relational trauma that still affects how you show up in relationships. What my clients have in common is a desire for real insight, deeper self-understanding, and lasting change—not just quick coping strategies. If you’re ready to explore your inner world with honesty and curiosity, I can help you make sense of the patterns holding you back and move toward a more authentic, peaceful, and grounded version of yourself.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

My training is in psychodynamic therapy, and over the years it has become the foundation of how I work. I’m interested in the deeper story behind a person’s struggles — the patterns, emotions, and unconscious beliefs that shape their life. In therapy, I help clients bring these pieces into awareness so they can move toward real and lasting change.

Psychoanalytic

I was trained in psychoanalytic theory, which deepens the way I understand clients’ internal worlds. In my work, I pay attention to unconscious meanings, early relational experiences, and the ways these patterns reappear in the present. I use these insights to help clients understand themselves more fully and work through long-standing emotional conflicts.

Integrative

I use an integrative approach by grounding my work in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theory while incorporating relational, experiential, and existential perspectives when they help deepen the client’s understanding. This allows me to adapt the depth of the work to each person’s needs while still maintaining a coherent therapeutic framework.

Existential

I use existential therapy by helping clients explore questions of meaning, identity, freedom, responsibility, and the choices that shape their lives. When issues like purpose, loss, mortality, or major life decisions arise, I integrate an existential perspective to help clients understand themselves more deeply and live with greater authenticity.

Relational

I use a relational approach by paying close attention to the patterns that emerge in clients’ relationships — including the therapeutic relationship itself. I help clients understand how early relational experiences shape the way they connect, communicate, and respond to others today, and we work together to create new, healthier ways of relating.
