I’m Jenn, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy since 2002. I specialize in anxiety, relationship stress, grief, infertility, postpartum emotional health, and major life transitions. I help adults reduce anxiety, feel more confident in their decisions, and develop practical tools they can use immediately in everyday life. I know it takes courage to reach out for support. If you’re here, you’ve already taken an important first step. I look forward to meeting you and working together toward the meaningful change you’re ready for.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Starting therapy can feel hopeful and a little nerve-wracking. That’s completely normal. My goal is to create a supportive, comfortable space where you can share what’s been going on at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brought you in, the stressors you’re facing right now, and what you’d like to feel different moving forward. By the end of our first session, you’ll have greater clarity about your patterns, a clear direction for our work, and at least one practical strategy you can begin using right away. You don’t need to prepare anything. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful with a clear next step.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths include building strong therapeutic relationships and creating a collaborative, client-centered experience where clients feel safe and understood. With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in helping high-functioning adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted. I combine insight oriented work with practical coping strategies to improve emotional regulation, reduce anxiety, and strengthen confidence. Clients often experience measurable progress, feeling more grounded, clear-headed, and equipped to handle life’s challenges.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adults who are used to handling everything on their own but are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or stuck in unhealthy patterns. Many are professionals, parents, or caregivers navigating relationship stress, life transitions, postpartum challenges, or identity shifts. They’re thoughtful and open to self-reflection, but ready for more than just coping, they want practical tools, clearer boundaries, and lasting change. If you’re motivated for growth and want structured, supportive therapy focused on real-life results, we may be a strong fit.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. I help clients recognize unhelpful thinking patterns like overthinking or self-criticism and develop practical coping strategies to reduce anxiety, depression, and stress. I use CBT in a flexible, real life way and often integrate it with client-centered and strengths-based approaches to make sure therapy feels personalized and meaningful.
