Hi there! I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) practicing in California. With over 12 years of experience and a master's degree from Hunter College, School of Social Work. I specialize in supporting clients who are navigating past complex trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health challenges. My approach is grounded in compassion, empathy, and evidence-based interventions tailored to meet each client's unique needs. I believe in the power of collaboration and empowerment, working alongside clients as they journey towards healing, resilience, and self-discovery.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll begin with brief introductions to establish a comfortable rapport. From there, we'll dive into exploring the specific challenges you're facing, allowing you to openly share your experiences and concerns. This initial discussion serves as the foundation for developing a tailored plan to address your unique needs and goals. In follow-up sessions, we'll continue to work collaboratively, using evidence-based techniques and personalized strategies to support your journey towards healing and growth.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with clients from all walks of life for the past 12 years, I've developed a personalization to address your needs. Through our collaboration, we'll first identify the root cause of your challenges, digging deep to uncover underlying factors. From there, we'll craft a tailored plan that is customized to your unique circumstances and goals. This plan will serve as a roadmap, guiding us towards measurable progress and tangible results. With my support and expertise, you'll be equipped to overcome obstacles and thrive in both your personal and professional life.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe in the transformative power of person-centered therapy to foster growth, self-awareness, and healing. My approach with clients is founded on the principles of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuine acceptance, creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment, and meet you exactly where you are at in your life.

Mind-body approach

I utilize the mind-body approach with clients to foster holistic healing and wellness. By addressing the interconnectedness of mental and physical health, we promote relaxation, stress reduction, and mindfulness. Through techniques like hypnotherapy, clients overcome limiting beliefs, heal emotional wounds, and unlock their potential for a fulfilling life marked by resilience and vitality.

EMDR

With over 8 years of experience utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in my practice, I have witnessed the transformative power of this therapy in helping clients overcome a wide range of traumas and challenges. Together, we have navigated the depths of pain, fear, and uncertainty, emerging stronger, more resilient, and empowered to embrace life with renewed vitality and purpose.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a powerful integrative tool I use to promote holistic healing and wellness, harnessing the mind-body connection to achieve profound shifts in perception, behavior, and well-being. I guide my clients into a state of deep relaxation and heightened awareness, facilitating stress reduction, relaxation, and mindfulness. This empowers clients to overcome limiting beliefs, change negative behaviors, and achieve personal growth, transformation, healing trauma and emotional wounds, accessing the subconscious mind's capacity for healing and resolution.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Harnessing the power of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps clients break free from limiting beliefs, overcome obstacles, and live a life aligned with one's values and goals. Through the cultivation of mindfulness skills. I guide clients through experiential exercises and mindfulness-based practices to develop present-moment awareness, non-judgmental acceptance, and compassionate self-awareness. By learning to observe your thoughts and emotions with curiosity and openness, one can break free from automatic patterns of reactivity and create space for intentional action.
