Hi, I'm Rebecca, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. With over 20 years of experience, I’ve been working with children since 2001, both in educational settings and in clinical roles. Since 2009, I’ve also been supporting adults and families, helping them navigate challenges and improve their well-being. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to help individuals and families thrive. I am a firm believer in the power of relationships as I believe they are incredibly healing. That being said, I come from an attachment and relationship-based perspective in which I value authenticity, compassion, and creating a safe space or container for you to come as you are.
In our first session, you can expect a warm welcome, and an opportunity to learn about one another. We'll discuss what brings you into therapy, your goals, interests, and begin developing a plan to meet your goals.
Are you looking to form a connection with a therapist that provides trust and safety for you to open up during your therapy journey? It has been shared, on many occasions, how quickly I build relationships which has helped my clients to better explore areas of their lives that had been avoided and take steps to heal and make desired change.
I work with a wide range of individuals—from toddlers to adults—who are navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, attachment challenges, life transitions, and behavioral difficulties. Regardless of age, I take a strengths-based approach, helping clients identify and build on existing skills so they can make meaningful progress toward their goals. Therapy with me is active and collaborative, and I often incorporate practical “homework” so clients can continue practicing new skills in their daily lives. With children, I’m especially well positioned to support those who benefit from structured, developmentally appropriate, and relationship-focused care. My background as an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant, preschool aide, and clinician in school-based, intensive outpatient, and wraparound settings allows me to work effectively with young children and school-aged youth. I help children develop emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and improve behavior through consistent, hands-on strategies. With adults, I support individuals facing similar concerns—such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions—who are looking for practical tools and a supportive space to build insight, resilience, and lasting change. My approach emphasizes skill-building, self-awareness, and applying what we work on in session to real-life situations.
Strength-Based
You are a unique individual with many strengths! We will focus on your strengths and build upon them.
Attachment-based
Connection and relationships are powerful and transformative. I've always been interested in attachment and studied this within my Human Development in college. I later began working within the mental health field serving children and families and used this to help with communication and healing. This love grew when I transitioned to early childhood (0-5 years old) mental health consultation. These very early relationships shape us.

Rebecca was really warm and kind! My partner and I made the mistake of accidentally choosing her thinking we could get couples counseling but it turns out that is not one of the modalities that she works with. However, I became very interested in potentially having individual therapy with Rebecca because of her warm and kind demeanor! Thank you so much for your help.
