LCSW, 3 years of experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles, California. I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC). I work with adolescent and adult clients statewide via telehealth. I have several years of experience with helping clients improve anxiety, depression, and overall stress symptoms that life and life transitions create. I am a therapist who is passionate about helping people heal, grow and discover their strengths.
What you can expect from our first session together is for us to spend the majority of our time talking about how you’ve been feeling recently, and me asking questions to begin understanding the source of your feelings. The first session is about us building an initial connection and helping me get a sense of where we should start. Every person is unique and I want to make sure we form a treatment style that is best for you.
My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to motivate and challenge clients in a supportive, uplifting way. I'm committed to helping people become the best version of themselves, and I do this by creating a warm and welcoming space where clients feel seen, encouraged, and empowered. Many clients have shared that they leave our sessions feelings more hopeful, energized and emotionally lighter. I bring a consistent, compassionate presence to therapy while also holding space for honest reflection, accountability and growth. My commitment to honesty has also been noted to me many times - honesty that helps clients face their most complex problems in order to become the best version of themselves. I strive to balance empathy with a gentle push toward lasting and meaningful change.
I'm best positioned to support clients who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives. Whether they're facing anxiety, trauma, grief, or life transitions, I work well with individuals who are open to self-reflection, willing to engage in the therapeutic process, and motivated to face challenges in order to grow. My role is to walk alongside them with compassion, honesty and practical tools as they do the important work of healing and transformation.
I use CBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behavior. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and learn strategies to challenge and reframe the negative thoughts.
I use trauma-focused CBT to support clients who have experienced trauma. This approach helps them understand how trauma has impacted their thoughts, feelings and behavior. We work together to develop healthier coping skills and gradually process traumatic memories in a safe and supportive way.
I use supportive therapy to create a safe, nonjudgemental space where clients feel heard, validated and emotionally supported. This approach focuses on building trust, strengthening coping skills, and reinforcing client strengths. It's especially helpful during times of stress, transition, or emotional overwhelm.
I use ACT to help clients learn how to accept difficult thoughts and feelings without getting stuck in them. We focus on identifying what truly matters to them and taking meaningful steps toward those values. The goal is to build psychological flexibility and create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
