With over 30 years of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals, children and families explore ways to find stability, resilience, and healing through times of change. I bring unique expertise in high conflict family dynamics and custody situations, drawing from years of working closing with Family Court. This experience has deepened my understanding of the emotional needs of children and parents facing separation.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal in our first session is to understand your current situation and to work together to create a goal, your vision, for possible solutions. that we will continue to work with in our sessions. Your time is important and I am very direct and focused . I want you to leave our first meeting with a sense of hope.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I understand that life can present us with challenges that are unexpected and can create worry, anxiety, and a sense of depression. In our work together you will find a safe and supportive space where emotions are honored and practical strategies are offered to move forward. I meet each client with compassion, experience, and care.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Most likely you are reaching out for support because you feel overwhelmed and ar unsure where to turn for assistance. Perhaps you or a family member are experiencing a separation or divorce or your children are struggling and you recognize that an impartial third person can recognize and understand your pain. Being a parent is wonderful, but definitely has speed bumps and your child may be experiencing behavioral or school challenges, which also means that you feel added stress. I understand the emotional and developmental needs of children and how to support the entire family while navigating these pivotal years.
