I’m a laid-back, client-centered therapist who believes in creating a relaxed, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and emotions. My approach is collaborative, meaning I’ll meet you where you’re at and work together to create a path forward that fits your unique needs and goals. I value authenticity, and I’m here to listen, offer support, and help you tap into your own strengths to create positive change at your own pace.
In our first visit, we will discuss and explore the main reasons that bring you into therapy. It is important for me to hear your expectations and needs of therapy to support us with establishing a goal collaboratively that is meaningful and important for you.
My greatest strengths as a therapist is my laid-back, curious, and nonjudgmental approach. I create a space where you can feel safe to express yourself openly, without fear of criticism or pressure. My natural curiosity helps me understand your unique perspective, and I use that to guide our conversations in a way that feels comfortable and collaborative. I’m here to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you explore what’s most important to you, all while offering support in a way that respects your pace and journey.
My ideal clients are individuals who are open, curious, and ready to make meaningful changes in their lives. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or seeking overall personal growth, I work best with those who are willing to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with an open mind.
I am trained in DBT, had experience in 2019 facilitating a DBT oriented group in an Criminal Justice Setting. DBT combines mindfulness, emotional regulation, and practical skills to help you navigate life’s barriers and challenges. It is especially helpful for individuals struggling with anxiety, self-harm, emotional dysregulation, or relationship difficulties.
I am an experienced therapist specializing in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), a goal-oriented approach that emphasizes clients’ strengths and resources to create positive change. With a focus on identifying what works and building on existing successes, I help individuals and couples develop practical strategies to overcome challenges and move toward their desired future. My approach is collaborative, empowering clients to recognize their own capabilities and take meaningful steps toward lasting solutions.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a structured, evidence-based approach that helps clients identify and change unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior. I work collaboratively with individuals to develop practical tools for managing stress, anxiety, depression, and other challenges. By focusing on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and actions, I support clients in building healthier coping strategies and achieving lasting personal growth.
I have a strong background in Psychodynamic Therapy, an insight-oriented approach that explores how unconscious patterns and early life experiences shape current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through a supportive and reflective therapeutic relationship, I help clients gain deeper self-awareness and understanding of their inner conflicts, fostering personal growth and emotional healing. This approach is particularly effective for those seeking long-term change and a deeper connection with themselves and others.
