As an experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I enjoy working with youth, adolescents, young adults, couples and Families. Throughout my experience, I have successfully worked with individuals, couples and families to gain insight and understanding regarding unhealthy/dysfunctional behavioral life patterns, processing trauma, navigating depression, anxiety and OCD behaviors and helping clients to overcome their struggles and better manage their responses to life stressors. I believe in a holistic approach to mental health, addressing mind & body. As a dedicated therapist, I specialize in a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, strengths-based therapy & psychotherapy, to help clients overcome negative thought patterns and behaviors. I want to provide clients with the tools they need for growth, as well as educating them on important concepts like trauma and emotional regulation and long-term healing. I am here to provide a safe, empathetic space where healing and growth can begin. To ensure we’re a good fit, I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past five years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety and symptoms. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I’ve been using DBT in my practice as a DBT certified therapist. DBT allows clients to develop tools to develop a balanced and non-reactive relationship with their thoughts and emotions. utilizing DBT I assist clients with developing the tools to engage in mindfulness exercises, practice emotional regulation, acceptance and change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Utilizing a Solution Focused Approach in my practice allows clients to develop the tools to focus on solutions rather than fixating on the problem. A Solution-Focused approach, is an evidence-based approach that focuses on what clients want to achieve through therapy rather than analyzing the problems that brought them into treatment

Trauma-Focused CBT

I’ve been using TF-CBT in my practice for the past five years. It’s helped dozens of clients and parents recognize and respond appropriately to traumatic experiences and responses. TF-CBT focuses on addressing the mental health needs of individuals who have experienced traumatic events. I support families and clients with the developing the tools to process their trauma.
