Hi there, my name’s Ephraim Tokar. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20+ years of experience. My specialties consist of relationships, men’s issues, career counseling, and psychosomatic illnesses. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, working initially with the adolescent population before transitioning over to adults. I then received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Whether it's individuals or couples, I'm happy to get to work with whomever comes my way. I do my best to facilitate a warm, trusting environment. Looking forward to meeting with you soon!
Life gets complicated. Sometimes it’s anxiety that’s been building for years. Sometimes it’s grief, trauma, relationship stress, burnout, or a major life change that suddenly leaves you feeling like you’re barely keeping your head above water.
I work with adults who are tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns and want to understand why they keep happening. Together, we’ll figure out what’s underneath the anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, conflict, or emotional exhaustion—not just put a bandage on it.
My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I’ll absolutely validate what you’re going through, but I’m also going to help you connect the dots, challenge the patterns that aren’t serving you anymore, and build tools that actually fit your life.

Hi, I’m Joe. I’ve worked in the mental health field for 27 years across substance use treatment, outpatient care, and hospital settings. I’ve supported individuals and families through crisis, transition, and long-term growth.
I work well with young adults, adults, and families who are navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, or major life changes. I also have extensive experience working with men who may struggle to express emotions directly and instead feel stuck in withdrawal, irritability, or self-doubt.
As a veteran, I understand the mindset and pressures that can come with military life. Across all of my work, I aim to provide a grounded, steady presence where honesty, insight, and meaningful change can take place.
I’m a therapist with 18 years of experience walking alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and moments of growth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the understanding that each person’s story is unique. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through anxiety, relationships, trauma, and personal change, and I remain continually inspired by people’s resilience and capacity for healing.
Hello! I am a graduate from Rider University and have my LPC in NJ and PA. I have been in community mental health for a decade, working with people of all ages, backgrounds, and needs. In my eyes, the primary goal of therapy is to feel safe and build a trusting relationship with healthy boundaries in a non-judgmental environment. My techniques focus on building hope, being solution-focused and utilizing mindfulness techniques to feel more present. Often people feel "stuck" in the past or worry about the future, so a combination of these techniques along with CBT and Motivational Interviewing, I hope to create an environment that can help a person achieve their goals.

As a therapist, I pride myself on being genuine, compassionate, and approachable. I understand that every person is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I meet my clients where they are and adjust my therapeutic techniques and interventions based on their individual needs, personality, experiences, and presentation.
I enjoy getting to know the person behind the symptoms and creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust, honesty, collaboration, and understanding. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood.
Hello. I am licensed marriage and family therapist and my clinical approach is cognitive-behavioral strength-based. I focus on helping people invalidate negative thoughts and become aware of their strengths. I do so in order to help them improve their confidence so that they can overcome challenges that they previously believed were impossible to triumph over. I also help people improve their boundaries to assist them with preventing others from negatively impacting their confidence and interfering with the development of their goals. With couples and families, I use an emotionally-focused approach that helps people become more comfortable with being vulnerable with people that are important to them. Becoming vulnerable helps people focus on discussing how they are impacted by others and what they need from them instead of blaming and criticism. Taking such a stance increases the chance that listeners will remain attentive instead of becoming defensive.
I provide individual counseling that focuses on establishing goals and developing a plan to build sustainable practices for achieving peak performance in sports and in life. Sports counseling for mental health peak performance with a strength-based approach that assists athletes in enhancing mental strength and emotional regulation. Topics addressed: anxiety, depression, confidence, injury, focus, recruiting, motivation, relaxation, team roles, consistency, general emotional health, mindfulness, and goal setting. Changing behaviors and the perspective you have in your life doesn't mean you have to change who you are as a person.

My style is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented. I work closely with clients to address patterns of overthinking, intrusive thoughts, and self-critical thinking, while also helping them build confidence and emotional resilience. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, challenged, and supported throughout your growth.
I believe that you don’t need to have everything figured out to be worthy of love, happiness, and connection. Through consistent effort and openness to change, I help clients make meaningful progress and feel more empowered in their lives.

Lastly, my adult and older adult work has been around navigating chronic or complex illnesses, and life changes impacting mental wellbeing.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should be a space where you can be your authentic self—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out.
My approach is warm, honest, person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I use evidence-based interventions while recognizing that your lived experience matters just as much as what a textbook says. I believe therapy isn’t about simply teaching coping skills; it’s about understanding yourself, recognizing patterns, processing your experiences, building healthier relationships, and learning how to advocate for yourself.
As your therapist, I’ll listen, support, encourage, and celebrate your growth—but I’ll also challenge you when necessary. I believe accountability and compassion can coexist. I’m not here to tell you what you want to hear; I’m here to help you understand what you need to hear and empower you to make meaningful changes.
My own lived experiences have shaped the way I understand resilience, family dynamics, relationships, personal growth, and navigating life’s transitions. They have taught me the importance of feeling genuinely heard and having someone who can meet you where you are while still believing in where you can go.
I especially enjoy working with youth, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, emotional challenges, self-esteem, relationships, family conflict, life transitions, and feeling “stuck.”
You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You just have to be willing to start. My goal is to help you feel seen, understood, empowered, and equipped to create the life you want.

I am a firm believer in everything that happens creates the person. I am a whole life counselor and work with people to explore what it would take to move past the difficult times in life.
I take the time to get to know my clients and have many clients who have been with me for years. That doesn't mean someone will see me every week for the rest of their life. It means client know I am available when they have need. I do have clients who have seen me weekly for years not because they are dependent on me but because they have found benefit in processing their life regularly.
I have had a successful personal practice for years and can offer clients the space and reverence to unpack the most unpleasant things to reorder them in a way they no longer can cause harm as they once did. There is no perfect childhood and it is likely families do the best they can and it may not have filled the needs of their child.
I am happy to take as much time as needed to work through the problem as you understand it.
**I’m currently opening up more sessions than what is shown on my public calendar. To secure your spot, please go ahead and grab any slot that looks open for now. Together we will develop a plan customized to your unique needs, preferences and goals. Whether there has been a significant loss, a life transition, relational conflict, or daily stressors, we all need support during difficult times. Sometimes, however, a trained professional can help navigate these challenges and assist in facilitating positive change. We aren’t always able to recognize the underlying cause of our discomfort or find ways to overcome life’s challenges. In a therapeutic setting, we will work together to discover healthier ways for you to deal with life’s struggles, make desired changes, improve relationships, and find inner healing.
Seeking therapy can be viewed as an investment in yourself. Improving mental and emotional health is as important as one’s physical health. My role is to provide a safe space and come alongside you on your journey.

If you’re reading this, you’re probably carrying something heavy — and you may have been carrying it longer than you should have had to. I’m glad you’re here.
I’m an LMFT licensed in both New York and New Jersey, and I work with adults who are navigating some of life’s most emotionally demanding seasons: parenting stress, relationship strain, depression, ADHD, and the kind of high-functioning exhaustion that doesn’t always look like struggle from the outside but absolutely feels like it.
My approach is relational at its core. I believe that healing rarely happens in isolation — it happens in connection. Before any technique or homework assignment, I prioritize building a therapeutic relationship where you actually feel safe enough to be honest. That foundation isn’t just good therapy etiquette; it’s what makes everything else possible.
From there, I draw on a range of evidence-based frameworks — attachment theory, CBT, DBT, and person-centered approaches — tailoring the work to what you specifically need rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. Some clients need tools and structure. Others need space to process and be witnessed. Most need both, at different moments.
I’ve worked with many people who came to therapy after putting it off for a long time — sometimes years. What kept them away was often fear: fear of judgment, fear of being misunderstood, or simply not knowing what therapy was supposed to feel like. I take that seriously. My goal from the very first session is to help you feel less alone in what you’re facing, and more capable of moving through it.
You don’t have to have it figured out before you reach out. That’s what we’re here to do together.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with individuals experiencing chronic stress, anxiety, trauma, and psychosomatic symptoms. My work focuses on helping clients understand the connection between their emotional experiences and physical symptoms, particularly when distress shows up in the body as pain, tension, fatigue without clear medical explanations. I take an integrative approach to therapy, combing several modalities to support clients in identifying patterns of overthinking, emotional reactivity, and relational dynamics that may be rooted in earlier experiences. I support clients in helping them build practical skills for regulation and coping. I believe that meaningful change happens within a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship. My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and respect for each client’s pace. I aim to create a space where clients can explore their experiences without judgment, develop greater self-awareness, and build a stronger sense of autonomy and self-trust.

I specialize in trauma and have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use concerns. I also work with couples and families, supporting healthier communication, deeper understanding, and more secure connections. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I also offer couples therapy on a private-pay basis. Insurance is accepted for eligible individual therapy services only.
Hi, I'm Assal. I've been a therapist for 13 years, helping young adults and adults navigate life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, and the stress that comes with balancing life's many demands.
Many of my clients come to therapy during periods of change or uncertainty. They may be starting college, launching a career, navigating dating and relationships, working through unhealthy relationship patterns, adjusting to parenthood, caring for family members, or questioning what they want from the next chapter of life. Others feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves and are looking to regain a sense of confidence, direction, and purpose.
My goal is to provide a space where you feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly about what's really going on. Together, we'll explore the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, while building on your strengths and helping you move toward the life you want.
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania with 5 years of experience working with female survivors of trauma and abuse. My passion lies in helping women build healthy relationships, eliminate toxicity from their lives, boost self-esteem, and heal from the deep impacts of trauma. My goal is for every client to come to a deeper understanding of themselves, and to leave therapy with practical skills intended to support them in sustaining their progress long term.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey with multiple degrees from Widener University. I’ve worked with a wide range of individuals facing challenges like anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, and more. My focus is on helping people manage stress more effectively, build healthier routines, and feel more in control of their day-to-day lives.
I’m not here to give you all the answers—I’m here to help you ask the right questions, challenge what’s no longer serving you, and support you as you build confidence in your ability to navigate life on your own terms.
From day one, I create a space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and safe to be themselves. I combine deep empathy with clinical insight, allowing me to connect with clients on a human level while still providing thoughtful, evidence-based care. I listen carefully—not just to what is said, but to what’s underneath—and I help clients put words to experiences they may have carried alone for a long time.

I have experience with working with kids, teens, adults, and couples. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Response Therapy, Attachment Based Family Therapy, and Parent Child Interaction Therapy.

Hi, I'm Claire. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I earned my Master of Social Work from Temple University in 2022. With four years of clinical experience, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging moments. I bring compassion and dedication to my work, and I find great meaning in helping clients navigate difficulties, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal growth. It is a privilege to witness and support my clients as they overcome obstacles and move toward more fulfilling lives.
I work with women and women-identifying individuals who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, reproductive mental health, and all of the complicated identity shifts that can come with being a woman in different seasons of life. Many of my clients are smart, capable, and very good at keeping things moving. On the outside, they may look like they have it all together. Inside, they may feel anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, disconnected from themselves, or simply tired of carrying so much.
I especially enjoy working with women through young adulthood, dating and relationships, marriage, career stress, perfectionism, infertility, fertility treatment and IVF, pregnancy, postpartum changes, motherhood, parenting, grief and loss, and midlife transitions. I also work with women who are trying to figure out who they are now that the version of themselves that used to fit no longer quite does.
Reproductive and perinatal mental health is a particular passion of mine. As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C), I have specialized training in infertility, IVF and fertility treatment, pregnancy, postpartum mental health, pregnancy loss, reproductive grief, family-building decisions, and the emotional complexities that can come with becoming a parent.
My style as a therapist is warm, conversational, thoughtful, and active. I believe therapy can be meaningful without feeling stiff or overly clinical. We will talk about difficult things, but we can also laugh. I will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, notice patterns, and help you make sense of what is happening underneath the surface. My goal is for you to feel understood, challenged when it is helpful, and comfortable enough to show up as yourself.
I’m a mental health therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I create a warm, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are—no pressure to have it all figured out. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overly clinical; it can be a place where you feel understood, challenged in helpful ways, and even share a laugh as you work toward feeling more balanced, confident, and in control of your life.
Hi, I’m Shakira, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and families create meaningful change. I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore emotions, build self-awareness, and develop practical tools for personal and relational growth.
In my work with individuals, I help clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and guide them toward healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship challenges, I focus on helping you gain insight and build the confidence to make positive, lasting changes.
With families, my approach centers on improving communication, rebuilding trust, and fostering understanding. I use a systemic perspective to help family members recognize how their interactions impact one another and work together to create new patterns of connection and cooperation. My goal is to help families move from conflict and disconnection toward empathy, balance, and mutual respect.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Functional Family Therapy (FFT), along with mindfulness and solution-focused techniques. Sessions are tailored to each client’s goals and often include hands-on strategies to apply between sessions for continued progress.
I believe growth happens when clients feel safe, heard, and supported. My role is to provide guidance, encouragement, and a structured space for reflection and change. Whether you’re seeking personal healing or stronger family relationships, therapy offers the opportunity to gain clarity, strengthen connections, and live with greater purpose and peace.
If you’re ready to begin your journey toward emotional wellness and healthier relationships, I’d be honored to work with you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New Jersey and South Carolina. I ascertained my MSW from Rutgers the State University of New Jersey. I have been in Private Practice for over twenty years working with children, adolescents and adults using Eclectic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy treatments. Specializing in various kinds of trauma and depression . I have worked in the pubic school system as a Social Studies Teacher and a member of the Child Study Team. In addition, I worked in several hospitals in the emergency room as a psychiatric social worker and several Correctional facilities in New York and New Jersey.
My journey into therapy began with a desire to help the hurting individuals I worked with in a group home, and a genuine passion for helping others find strength through life’s most difficult moments. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people facing a wide range of challenges—experiences that have shown me just how powerful and transformative therapy can be. These moments have only deepened my commitment to walking alongside others on their path to healing. I’m continually inspired by the belief that every person holds the capacity for growth, resilience, and change. We can change and heal. Sometimes we just need a little help along the way. I treat adults age 18 and up.
You may be in a season of life where you find yourself thinking, "I don't know who I am anymore," "I don't know what I need," or simply, "I don't know what comes next." Maybe your relationships feel harder than they used to, you're struggling to feel motivated or fulfilled, or you've spent so much time caring for everyone else that you've lost touch with yourself along the way.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with individuals navigating relationship challenges, identity shifts, life transitions, anxiety, and those "I don't know" seasons where you know something needs to change but aren't quite sure where to begin. Together, we can explore the patterns that are keeping you stuck, strengthen your relationships and communication, reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way, and help you move toward a life that feels more like your own.
I have a particular passion for working with women throughout motherhood and the many transitions that come with it. From pregnancy and postpartum to adjusting to a new identity, changing relationships, balancing roles, and wondering where you fit into all of it. Motherhood can bring love and joy while also feeling overwhelming, isolating, and unfamiliar. I support moms throughout the perinatal and postpartum periods, as well as women simply trying to navigate the emotional complexities of becoming and being a mother.
When I’m not in session, I’m usually spending time with my two children and enjoying the everyday moments of family life. I love baking, trying new recipes, getting outside, and finding time to slow down and recharge.
Hi! My name is Gina and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New Jersey. I received my Master's degree from Rutgers University in Camden and have been practicing for over ten years. I help teenagers, young adults and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem and life transitions become more capable and confident in managing life stressors.
I work remotely with clients in New York, New Jersey & North Carolina. Oftentimes, even the strongest and most resilient need a helping hand. If you're feeling unhappy, unfulfilled, angry, sad or simply feeling unlike yourself, maybe it's time you take the hand of someone else to help get you back to feeling like yourself again. Therapy can be intimidating, time consuming and even scary however I promise it is the best investment you can ever make in yourself.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has dedicated my professional life to the advancement of the human species. What do I mean by the advancement of the human species? Well, no one ever taught us how to be mindful of thought patterns; to be aware of our own scars and biases, no one gave us an instruction book when it comes to dealing with our emotional life and the emotional lives of others. Scary, those big feelings can be. Unless, you have a plan. That is where therapy comes in. We work together to develop plans to assure you accomplish the goals you set for yourself.
Life can feel overwhelming when you’re constantly trying to manage everything on your own. You may be carrying the weight of grief, navigating unexpected changes, or feeling exhausted from the pressure to keep everything under control. Maybe you set high expectations for yourself, struggle with feeling “good enough,” or find yourself stuck between pushing through and shutting down.
I offer a space to slow down, understand the patterns keeping you stuck, and build healthier ways to cope. I help those struggling with stress, perfectionism, and control-related challenges create more clarity, balance, and self-compassion in their lives.
I've always wanted to have those deeper conversations, about what matters most to people. Personal talks are the most important talks we ever have. And most people don't spend that much time talking it through with anyone. This might be the best use of an hour you've got. We'll see what we can come up with.

My name is Olga and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of NJ, AZ and FL. I have a lot of experience working with a diverse population of clients with different diagnosis and in a variety of mental health settings including inpatient, outpatient, psychiatric hospitals, group homes, private in home therapy, schools and virtually (audio, audiovisual and livechat). I specialize in ERP for clients experiencing symptoms of OCD and HRT for clients experiencing BFRB's and tic disorders. I am eclectic in my approach to therapy and some of the alternate treatment modalities that I use include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution focused brief therapy, mindfulness based therapy, etc. I hope to build a strong and trusting relationship with all of my clients and I believe that therapy should be a safe and non-judgmental environment where client's can work toward their goals.
Rita LaBrew, LMFT, licensed in New York and New Jersey, brings extensive experience in foster care, child welfare, private practice, and telehealth. I provide a collaborative, thoughtful therapy experience grounded in clinical expertise and evidence-informed care. Together, we'll work toward greater insight, emotional resilience, and meaningful, lasting change.
I work with adults who are ready to move beyond simply managing symptoms and are willing to explore the deeper patterns shaping their lives. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, family-of-origin concerns, life transitions, or longstanding emotional patterns, therapy offers an opportunity to understand not only what you're experiencing, but why.
My approach is primarily psychodynamic, integrating psychoeducation to help make complex emotional experiences more understandable and practical. Together, we explore how early relationships, unconscious patterns, protective roles, and present-day experiences influence your emotions, relationships, and decisions. As insight grows, clients often find themselves responding to life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.
Clients often describe my style as thoughtful, direct, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where curiosity replaces self-criticism, where difficult experiences can be understood without judgment, and where lasting change develops through deeper self-awareness rather than temporary solutions.
My practice is best suited for adults seeking ongoing outpatient psychotherapy and is not a fit for higher-acuity or crisis-focused care. I may refer clients whose needs would be better served by a higher level of care, specialized treatment, or services outside my scope of practice. Please note that I do not provide documentation or written support for court, custody, disability, or other legal matters, and my practice is not a fit for individuals seeking therapy primarily for court-related issues. My goal is always to help clients find the care that best meets their needs.

Hi, I’m Jelysa—founder of Take 2 Counseling, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, wife, and mom of two. Being a therapist is a huge part of who I am, but so is my family. Juggling real-life responsibilities, caring for others, and trying to stay grounded in the middle of it all gives me a deep understanding of the daily pressures many of us face—especially young women who are trying to find their footing in a fast-paced world. Growing up as the daughter of a therapist, I was surrounded by empathy, connection, and emotional awareness from an early age. My mom showed me that healing doesn’t come from being perfect—it comes from being present, making space for growth, and learning through our mistakes. She continues to be my role model for resilience and restoration.
As a licensed therapist in Missouri, Kentucky, and New Jersey, I bring 25 years of compassionate clinical experience supporting individuals through complex life transitions and emotional challenges. My approach centers on creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their inner experiences and develop meaningful strategies for personal growth.
I specialize in addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, LGBTQ+,and life transitions. My therapeutic work focuses on helping individuals navigate complex emotional landscapes, from workplace stress to relationship dynamics, with particular expertise in supporting young adults, caregivers, and those experiencing significant personal transformations.
My practice is deeply committed to understanding each client's unique journey. I offer a progressive, affirming approach that honors individual experiences and empowers clients to develop stronger self-understanding, communication skills, and emotional resilience. Whether you're struggling with social anxiety, processing major life changes, or seeking deeper self-connection, I'm dedicated to walking alongside you with empathy and professional guidance.
Good Karma to all....
I found my career as a therapist as a secondary one which has provided exposure to multiple therapeutic settings. My start in community mental health gifted me with a well-rounded, diverse level of training and exposure to the human experience. More importantly, my background reinforced the importance and power of the therapeutic relationship. I am curious, empathetic, affirming, and compassionate. My sense of humor often finds its way into our sessions (as do my dogs, if you're so inclined!). Together, we will map your treatment, so that you are clear as to what to expect, regardless of the intervention. We start at the place you are ready, reinforcing the strengths and resiliency that you already exhibit. Together, we build from there to address what you came in for.. Therapy is hard work, but it is also profoundly full, rewarding and empowering. It's important for me to honor both the challenges and rewards.
I have spent the past two decades counseling and supervising clinicians who work with some of society's most vulnerable members. I possess a vast amount of experience working with children and adolescents who face various mental health, social, and behavioral challenges. I have a master’s degree in psychology and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. I also obtained my certification as an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), which allows me to supervise clinical candidates for state licensure.
I am currently the Clinical Supervisor for Healthy Body Healthy Mind, LLC. I previously held the role of Senior Primary Therapist for ten years in the Children’s Partial Hospital Program (PHP) at Princeton House Behavioral Health located in North Brunswick, New Jersey. Before joining Princeton House, I worked with Cranford Counseling Center, worked as a supervisor for the Children’s Mobile Response & Stabilization Unit at UMDNJ in Essex County, and served as the Program Head Clinician at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey in their Full-Day and Half Day Partial Hospital Programs.
I have a passion for providing therapeutic services for children and adolescents and their families who are in need of effective solutions to mental health and behavioral challenges. My experience, combined with my passion for helping children and their families, allows me to serve my clients successfully.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in both PA and NJ. I have been in private practice since 2001. I work with ages 15 years and older and I LOVE my career. I work with teens and young adults who are transitioning and have seen these clients through the entire process of not being accepted by peers and, very sadly family, to live incredible full lives. I have a past client's wedding to go to in May :) I get to witness my clients live the lives they've always wanted and I'm a small part of that. I absolutely love my job.
You may love your family deeply and still feel exhausted by everything that comes with taking care of everyone else. Maybe you’re adjusting to motherhood, raising young children, questioning your relationship, dealing with difficult in-laws, navigating a separation, or realizing that you’ve spent so much time keeping the peace that you’ve stopped speaking up for yourself. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps women navigate these complicated seasons of life, strengthen their boundaries, communicate more assertively, and reconnect with who they are outside of the roles they fill for others. I also welcome partners who want to better understand and support a spouse going through major life transitions and learn how to show up with greater empathy, communication, and emotional support.
I am in drug addiction recovery and have been sober for 18 years. Started as a counselor assistant about 16 years ago, gained many years of experience working with many different clients' challenges and various cultures. I come from a non-judgmental perspective as I understand the importance of clients feeling safe in session. I absolutely love doing this kind of work.
I believe every child and teen deserves the opportunity to feel safe, understood, and hopeful about their future. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families navigating trauma, emotional and behavioral challenges, and difficult life experiences. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and individualized, with a focus on understanding not only what a young person is experiencing, but also the relationships, environments, and experiences that have shaped them.
My work is trauma-informed, person-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw primarily from cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and family- and systems-focused approaches to help young people understand their emotions and experiences, develop effective coping skills, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. I also value collaboration with caregivers and families when appropriate.
I have a particular passion for supporting youth who have experienced trauma or are struggling with complex emotional and behavioral needs. Sometimes challenging behaviors are also ways a young person has learned to cope, communicate, or survive. Rather than focusing only on stopping a behavior, I want to understand what is underneath it and help young people and their families find healthier ways forward.
Therapy is a collaborative process. My role is to provide a safe space where young people feel heard and understood while offering support, evidence-based guidance, and a gentle push when needed. Together, we can build on existing strengths, work through difficult experiences, and help young people move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Hello, I am Shana Toney, a Licensed Professional Counselor. Over my lifetime I have always worked in human services. It was gratifying to work with clients in their time of need and support them through the process. Many of the clients would say they felt comfortable talking to me and I listened to their needs. Those years of serving the community led me to become a therapist. Once I became a therapist 8 years ago, I found my passion. I love having the opportunity and freedom to work with clients, helping them figure things out, learn to create change in their lives and coping with situations they have no control over. Change is not easy but possible. My role as a therapist is to walk with clients to help create their change and happiness they desire.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Central New Jersey. If you’re struggling, please know you don’t have to face it alone. With over 5 years of experience, I’ve worked with adults navigating a wide
range of mental health issues, including disorder, mood disorders, and other mental health challenges. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel understood, valued, and empowered to
make meaningful changes in your life Whether you’re looking for relief from overwhelming emotions, navigating a major life transition, or seeking clarity and balance, I’m here to guide and support you. Together,
we’ll uncover your strengths and create a path toward healing and hope.
I'm Jackie — a licensed clinical social worker and addiction counselor who genuinely loves this work. I trained at NYU Silver and spent years in community mental health, inpatient, and outpatient settings before opening my private practice. I wanted something less clinical and more human.
I work with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, codependency, relationship struggles, and the kind of life transitions that leave you wondering who you even are anymore. A lot of my clients grew up in homes that felt unpredictable or unsafe — homes where they learned early to read the room, manage everyone else's feelings, and keep the peace at their own expense. They've been the capable one for so long that asking for help feels almost foreign. If that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
Therapy with me is collaborative and conversational. Sessions feel more like a real conversation than a formal appointment. I'll help you understand the patterns underneath the surface stuff — why you react the way you do, where it came from, and what to do about it now. We'll draw from CBT, DBT, and IPT, building real skills along the way. Sometimes you'll leave with something to try between sessions; other times, something to sit with and think about.
My style is warm, direct, and skills-focused. I'll meet you where you are and gently push when it serves your growth, because real change usually means getting a little uncomfortable in a safe space. Humor shows up too — the hard stuff goes down easier when we can laugh at parts of it.
Asking for help isn't weakness. It's one of the braver things you can do.
