About me

My work is grounded in the belief that genuine human connection is at the heart of healing. I strive to create a space filled with empathy, trust, and compassion, where you feel safe to explore your emotions and discover your inner strength. I believe therapy is not "one size fits all." Together we will develop a plan customized to your unique needs, preferences and goals. I will teach you healthy ways to process your feelings, improve communication and empower you to take care of yourself.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be a way for us to get to know each other. I will ask you about why you’re seeking therapy as well as your current symptoms and stressors. We will also explore and identify current strengths and supports. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. Please note this is all at your comfort level. I understand this is our first time meeting, so it may be overwhelming.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have been dedicated to providing mental health support to children, teens, and adults for 19 years in hospitals, schools, counseling centers, and outreach programs. My goal is to offer a supportive space to process emotions and equip people of all ages with the tools necessary to navigate life's challenges with confidence. I would love to connect and support you on your journey to well-being

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Whether you're navigating life transitions, managing anxiety or depression, processing trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed, individual therapy can offer a space to breathe, reflect, and grow. I provide a calm and welcoming space for adults to explore their feelings, gain clarity, and develop coping strategies that work. I have a passion for working with: Individuals struggling with trauma, grief, mood disorders, low self-esteem, or life transitions; Moms navigating the intense pressures of parenting, relationships, and identity shifts; and Young adults dealing with school, work-life balance, or finding their footing in the adult world.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT can help you challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Trauma Informed Care

Creating a safe, respectful space where you feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions is my priority. I will gently explore ways your past traumas effect you in the present day. Together, we will come up with ways to manage your feelings and set new, healthy ways to deal with your past.

Strength-Based

Together we will explore and identify your strengths. My goal is to guide you in discovering your strengths, building confidence, and taking meaningful steps toward change.
