About

Life gets complicated. Sometimes it’s anxiety that’s been building for years. Sometimes it’s grief, trauma, relationship stress, burnout, or a major life change that suddenly leaves you feeling like you’re barely keeping your head above water. I work with adults who are tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns and want to understand why they keep happening. Together, we’ll figure out what’s underneath the anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, conflict, or emotional exhaustion—not just put a bandage on it.

My background in trauma-informed care, attachment work, and grief support allows me to help clients make sense of difficult experiences without feeling rushed or pathologized.

My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I’ll absolutely validate what you’re going through, but I’m also going to help you connect the dots, challenge the patterns that aren’t serving you anymore, and build tools that actually fit your life.

First session

Starting therapy can be awkward. Most people come in wondering, “Where do I even start?” The good news is, that’s my job—not yours. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what led you to reach out now, and what you hope will be different. I’ll ask questions along the way to get the bigger picture, but there’s no pressure to tell your entire life story in one session. By the end of our first appointment, I want you to feel like someone finally understands what’s been weighing on you and that you have a clearer idea of where we’re headed together.

Strengths

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Some clients need practical coping skills right away. Others need space to process years of experiences they’ve never had the chance to unpack. Most people need a little of both. My goal is to help you understand yourself in a way that actually changes things. We’ll look at where your patterns came from, why they keep showing up, and what it would look like to respond differently. Along the way, I’ll offer education, practical strategies, honest feedback, and a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk in.

Ideal clients

Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, resentful, or disconnected underneath. They’re often used to being the “reliable one” and are ready to start looking at their own needs more honestly. I have a strong focus on grief and loss (including complex and non-death losses), relationship dynamics, and emotional regulation. I also work well with clients managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood-related concerns, particularly when those show up in interpersonal stress. My approach is collaborative, practical, and insight-driven. Clients who benefit most from working with me are open to reflection, willing to look at patterns over time, and interested in building tools they can actually use in real life—not just talk about in session.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. Together we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical tools to shift those patterns. This might include learning ways to challenge unhelpful thoughts, manage anxiety or overwhelm, and build healthier coping strategies for daily life.

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy looks at how early relationships shape the way we experience connection, safety, and trust in adulthood. In our work together, we explore relational patterns and how they may show up in current relationships. The goal is to build greater emotional security, healthier boundaries, and more fulfilling connections.

Trauma Informed Care

I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens, recognizing that many people carry experiences that impact their nervous system, emotions, and relationships. My work focuses on creating a safe, supportive space while helping clients build regulation skills, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with a sense of stability and control.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy explores how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns influence current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By increasing awareness of these patterns, clients can better understand themselves and make meaningful changes in their lives and relationships.

Strength-Based

A strength-based approach focuses on identifying and building on the abilities, resilience, and resources you already have. Rather than focusing only on problems, we work together to recognize what has helped you cope in the past and use those strengths to support growth, healing, and meaningful change.
