I’m a licensed clinical social worker who works with adults navigating grief, trauma, major life changes, and the emotional weight that often comes with them. Many of my clients are people who have been holding things together for a long time—professionally, within their families, or for others—and are now looking for a place where they can finally slow down and process what they’ve been carrying. My approach is compassionate, practical, and grounded in helping people better understand their experiences while building tools that make daily life feel more manageable.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a conversation. My goal is to create a space where you can start sharing what has brought you to therapy at your own pace. We’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, what you’re hoping might feel different, and any questions you have about the therapy process. I’ll also ask some background questions so I can better understand your experiences and what support might be most helpful. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying areas we may want to focus on moving forward and discuss what ongoing work together might look like.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often describe my approach as both compassionate and practical. I work to create a space where people feel safe enough to be honest about what they’re experiencing, while also helping them develop concrete tools they can use outside of session. My background in trauma-informed care, attachment work, and grief support allows me to help clients make sense of difficult experiences without feeling rushed or pathologized. I also bring a strong focus on emotional regulation and nervous system awareness, which can be especially helpful for people dealing with chronic stress, trauma responses, or overwhelming emotions. Above all, my goal is to help clients feel more steady, more self-aware, and more capable of navigating the challenges in their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand. Many of my clients are navigating grief, complicated family dynamics, burnout, or major life transitions. Some are high-functioning people who appear to be managing well on the outside but feel very different internally. My ideal clients are thoughtful, reflective people who want to understand themselves better and are open to exploring both the emotional and practical sides of healing. They may be struggling with anxiety, relationship stress, unresolved loss, or the impact of past experiences that still show up in their daily lives. Together we focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening emotional regulation, and building healthier ways of coping and connecting with others.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. Together we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical tools to shift those patterns. This might include learning ways to challenge unhelpful thoughts, manage anxiety or overwhelm, and build healthier coping strategies for daily life.

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy looks at how early relationships shape the way we experience connection, safety, and trust in adulthood. In our work together, we explore relational patterns and how they may show up in current relationships. The goal is to build greater emotional security, healthier boundaries, and more fulfilling connections.

Trauma Informed Care

I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens, recognizing that many people carry experiences that impact their nervous system, emotions, and relationships. My work focuses on creating a safe, supportive space while helping clients build regulation skills, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with a sense of stability and control.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy explores how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns influence current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By increasing awareness of these patterns, clients can better understand themselves and make meaningful changes in their lives and relationships.

Strength-Based

A strength-based approach focuses on identifying and building on the abilities, resilience, and resources you already have. Rather than focusing only on problems, we work together to recognize what has helped you cope in the past and use those strengths to support growth, healing, and meaningful change.
