Licensed Psychotherapist | Culturally Sensitive | Trauma-Informed
Welcome, I’m Nubia.
Healing doesn’t happen overnight — but with the right support, it absolutely happens. Whether you're working through trauma, betrayal, anxiety, divorce, or simply feeling emotionally stuck, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity, strength, and care.
I work with adults navigating life transitions, stress, or emotional wounds that have been hard to process alone. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsure of how to break free from patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we explore the deeper “why” behind those patterns — and create space for healing, resilience, and growth.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These methods help us understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected — and how to gently shift the beliefs that keep you feeling stuck. But beyond technique, I lead with authenticity, compassion, and cultural awareness.
In our sessions, you’ll find a space that feels safe, honest, and judgment-free. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning to it, you are welcome exactly as you are.
Clients often tell me they feel more centered, more empowered, and more hopeful after working together. I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and virtual sessions, because healing should fit into real life.
If you’re ready to begin your journey — whether you’re clear on your goals or still figuring them out — I’d be honored to support you.
Let’s take the first step, together.
Warmly,
Nubia Anacius , MS,NBCC,LPC
Licensed Psychotherapist
I specialize in helping individuals navigate the challenges of substance use, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. My work is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—approaches that support real change by combining empathy, skill-building, and a strong therapeutic alliance. With 9 years of clinical experience and lived experience with addiction and family trauma, I bring both professional knowledge and real-world understanding into the therapy room.
Above all, I offer a space where you don’t have to explain or justify your struggle—you can just be real. And from that place, we work together to create the life you want to live.
Hello! My name is Rebecca, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I'm so excited that you want to take this next step for yourself! Let's be honest, seeking therapy can be scary, yet so rewarding and exciting. My goal is to create an environment that not only challenges you; but allows you a safe place to explore and process different challenges you are facing or goals you are wanting to achieve. I enjoy thinking outside of the box in working with you to create the best quality of life. I have worked with a broad population from children, teens, adults, seniors, and individuals with terminal and/or chronic illnesses.
Hi there — I’m Jayne’, and I’m so glad you’re here! As a Licensed Professional Counselor serving Georgia and Florida, I specialize in working with those 28 and up who are high‑achievers, couples and individuals who feel deeply driven in their professional lives—yet somehow disconnected or stuck in their relationships, their sense of self, or the way they move through life.
You might recognize yourself if you’ve excelled in your career or set high standards for yourself, but find that your closest relationships — whether intimate, professional, or internal — aren’t feeling as connected, grounded, or fulfilling as you’d hoped. Maybe you desire genuine and fulfilling personal connections, yet you sense that fear or an inability to be vulnerable, relational habits, past trauma or unspoken patterns are quietly shaping how you engage with others or even how you show up for yourself.
In our work together, you’ll find a safe, thought-provoking, judgment‑free space to explore all of that paired with exercises and tools to connect more intentionally with others. I bring a blend of thoughtful challenge and genuine support — we’ll honor your drive and successes, while gently opening up the deeper layers of your relational world: your attachment style, your inner voice, your relational patterns, your leadership role or identity and your emotional safety.
Whether you’re an individual longing to bring your hard‑won success into a more connected, authentic life or a couple seeking more alignment and connection — I’m here to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you long to be. You don’t have to settle for high achievement and relational dissatisfaction. There’s another way — one where your strengths become bridges to deeper connection, not barriers.
Thank you for taking this step on the journey toward greater intimacy, presence and relational ease.
I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and an EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Therapist (FL/NJ/VA). I attempt to resolve the most dominant and deep-seated challenges within 8 to 12 sessions with short-term counseling, if you are ready for change and the best fit for the intervention. My therapeutic approach is based on the individual's specific needs. I also use traditional talk therapy with my clients. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of therapy that enables you to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. I work with adult clients. *NOTE: According to my policy, I do not complete FMLA or disability paperwork at this time.
Do you keep finding yourself in the same relationship patterns? Even when you know you want something different? Maybe you overthink, people please, shut down, or feel overwhelmed by conflict and disconnection. You may understand why you react the way you do, but still struggle to change it. I help adults understand the attachment and trauma patterns behind anxiety, emotional dysregulation, relationship struggles, and feeling unheard. Therapy is about more than managing symptoms. It’s about healing, growth, and building practical tools you need to thrive in a lasting way.
Growing up in Brazil, and having had extensive experience traveling and living in different parts of the world, I have a passion working with people with a variety of perspectives and traditions. I attended New Mexico State University and earned my doctoral degree in counseling psychology. I also have an educational specialist degree in school psychology. I specialize in college aged students, women's issues, fertility, single mothers by choice, grief, interpersonal and romantic relationships, and anxiety.
I received my Master's Degree in Counseling from Wayne State University in 2011. I am experienced in providing a wide variety of therapeutic services including Substance Use, Addictions, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Grief and Loss. I see adults, 18 and over, including elders. I offer both telehealth and in person sessions, whichever works best for you.
Making a call is your first step towards feeling better. I look forward to meeting you.

At EJM Therapy, you’ll find a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can show up fully without shame or stigma.

Hey there! It is so nice to meet you. I'm Tanya Parnes, and I have been working with clients for over 15 years to help them overcome obstacles in their paths, find ways through their stressors and identify the solutions they already had within but just couldn't see.
When I work with clients they often say, they really enjoy feeling heard, understood and relieved to feel less alone. I meet with a lot of people who feel truly stuck in their circumstances, and just cannot see a way out. They often feel stressed, frustrated and lonely. Everything seems like too much and they cannot figure it out no matter how many ways they've tried.
I believe it is completely possible to get out of the same cycles that plague you & keep you stuck on that never ending hamster wheel. It is not always easy, but the end rewards make up for it.
Learning to let go, realizing there is a way forward and seeing a future without the problems that have been recurring where things are more manageable than ever before is my goal. My clinical skills and techniques will help you get there by learning tools that help you end those cycles and start living the life you have always wanted and dreamed of.
Together, we will find better ways to handle difficulties and work through tough times redirecting energy and focus to things that are in your control which you have the power to change!
My name is Ashley, I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 10 years of experience. I have worked with individuals of varying age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, and personality style addressing a wide range of issues (including but not limited to stress, addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, ADHD, PTSD, grief/loss, codependency, self-esteem, and anger management.)
I believe healing happens when you feel safe, understood, and empowered. I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 14 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, women's issues, infertility, and spiritual struggles. My approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic, blending evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness while honoring each client's values and goals. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, I'll meet you with compassion and practical tools to help you move forward.
What typically surprises people is that I am the 11th of 13 children - all from the same parents. Growing up with so many siblings has given me a great opportunity to learn about family dynamics and effective discipline. My parents did a great job of maintaining a safe and well-behaved home, and I use their example as a template while also incorporating my own experience as a parent for working with families today.
As for my approach to therapy, I use several different theories depending on the need of the client; however, my primary mode is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It just fits my personality. If you are looking for a therapist who focuses solely on your emotions and how you're feeling on any given day, then I will not be a good fit for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for a therapist who not only does all that but who will also listen to everything you say (as well as the meaning behind what you say) and then challenge your thinking habits to help you find more effective and productive thinking patterns, then I'm on board for that. I learned a long time ago that many clients do not want things "Sugar Coated", but rather prefer their therapist to be respectfully bold and blunt. If this is who you are looking for in a therapist, then let's get to work.

Hi, I’m Victoria Freeman, I’m really glad you’re here.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, and I work with young adults, adults, and families who are tired of holding everything together. Many of the people I see are living with anxiety, depression, grief or loss, low self-worth, emotional burnout, or a quiet sense that they’ve lost touch with themselves somewhere along the way.
If you’re used to being the strong one, the responsible one, the one who keeps going no matter what, therapy here is a place where you don’t have to do that.
With me, you don’t have to perform.
You don’t have to explain everything perfectly.
You don’t have to pretend you’re okay.
You can cry. You can sit in silence. You can struggle to find words. You can just be.
There is no judgment here, only honesty, patience, and room to breathe.

Hi my name is Amy, and I first want to acknowledge how difficult and scary it feels to begin the process of therapy, either for the first time or starting with a new therapist. I take very seriously the enormous strength that takes and I work very hard to ensure that you feel safe and heard as we begin the therapeutic relationship. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 15 years of experience providing counseling in both inpatient and outpatient centers. I received my Master’s degree in counseling in 2008, from Webster University. I had the privilege of working in an inpatient eating disorder facility for five years and have continued that work in outpatient settings. I am an ally to the LGBTQ community and it is important to me that clients find this a safe space.
I have a passion for connecting with teenagers, college students and career women to build a safe place with an adult where they can voice their feelings and experiences without fear of judgement. I also especially enjoy working with young adult women as they navigate their way through the process of beginning adulthood. I have experience with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and general women’s issue. I am especially passionate about working with CPTSD and PTSD. I have received training and supervision in working with trauma as it is a highly specialized field. Trauma survivors need validation, belief, compassion and acceptance first and foremost before a trusting relationship can be established. I have working with women exiting a toxic relationship, having endured narcissistic abuse and/or infidelity (betrayal trauma) which is many times misunderstood by well-intentioned people. My approach is warm, compassionate and highly empathetic as I work to establish a safe environment for healing to take place.
I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor, psychotherapist, and psychoanalyst with over 27 years of experience in psychotherapeutic treatment. I offer therapy in Spanish to individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, insecurity, and self-esteem issues, among others. I have supported people facing difficulties and feelings of loneliness related to migration and grief. Additionally, I work with pregnant women experiencing infertility or in the postpartum stage.
