Are you looking for a judgement-free space to discuss your issues? It is not easy to sit in front of a stranger and discuss your personal issues. I take pride in being a therapist that is open to understanding my client's point of view. My goal as a therapist is to facilitate a safe space for teens, young adults and people of color to share their adverse experiences. At the same time, I welcome clients of all backgrounds who are seeking a thoughtful, culturally responsive space for growth.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about what you’ve been experiencing, what goals you may have for therapy, and any background that may help provide context. There is no pressure to have everything figured out right away—this is simply a space for you to share at your own pace. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported while we begin identifying areas we can work on together. By the end of the session, we will also discuss next steps and what the therapeutic process may look like moving forward.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I work collaboratively with my clients to establish specific goals that will guide the therapeutic process. Utilizing a client centered approach, my focus is to meet clients where they are. I am forensic social work certified as well as a certified autism informed professional.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
As a clinician my focus is trauma. The National Counil reports that 70% of adults will experience some type of trauma. I specialize in helping clients process their trauma and reframe their thought process. I will help you pinpoint triggers and develop healthy coping skills.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work well with teens, young adults, and millennials who are navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or past experiences that continue to impact their well-being. Many of the clients I work with are looking for a supportive space to better understand themselves, improve communication, and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s pressures. I also have experience supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and creating a space where clients feel comfortable discussing how identity, family, and community experiences may influence their mental health. My goal is to meet each client where they are and help them build the insight, confidence, and tools needed to move forward.

Stan has been the best therapist I have ever encountered and should truly be recognized for his assiduous efforts and care for his clients. I am truly grateful for him in this very important time in my life. I look forward to our meetings in the future and even seeing where we both elevate to in our own life goals. Thank you, Stan!

Stan is a great provider. He is intelligent/knowledgeable, very relaxed and understanding. I enjoy being able to share with him as I can tell he is truly listening and in-tune. He let's me speak my mind and understands a lot about the background I come from. I am very grateful to have found him at this time/process of pure alignment in my life.
