Hello, I’m Edmundo Carrion. I work with adults who are navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, self-doubt, and the lingering impact of difficult experiences. I bring experience from crisis, detox, residential, outpatient, and rehabilitation settings, which has shaped a calm, grounded approach to therapy—especially during overwhelming or uncertain moments. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel understood, supported, and empowered. In our work together, we’ll focus on building practical skills, strengthening insight, and reconnecting you with the strengths you already have. My goal is to help you feel more confident, balanced, and capable of moving forward in your life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll take time to explore what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping to change or better understand. I’ll ask questions to get a fuller picture of your experiences, challenges, and strengths. We’ll also talk about what you want from therapy and set goals at a pace that feels comfortable for you. This session is a chance for you to ask questions, get a feel for my approach, and begin building a supportive, collaborative working relationship.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I bring a balance of warmth, humor, and direct communication to therapy. Clients often appreciate my honest, grounded approach, especially when working on boundaries, self-worth, and navigating difficult conversations. I strive to create a space that feels both supportive and real—where you can reflect, gain clarity, and work toward meaningful change without judgment. My goal is to help you feel more confident in your choices and more connected to yourself.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I enjoy working with adults who are curious about themselves and interested in growing through life’s challenges. If you’re open to exploring new ways of thinking, strengthening boundaries, and developing greater self-confidence, we may be a good fit. At this time, I work exclusively with individual adults and do not work with couples, families, or minors.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and gently challenge thoughts that increase stress, anxiety, or self-doubt. The focus is on building practical skills you can use in daily life to respond to challenges in more balanced and effective ways.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
In SFBT, we identify the strategies and strengths you already have that can be expanded to reach your goals. This approach focuses on solutions and progress, helping you take actionable steps that lead to measurable change and increased confidence.

Edmundo is great, he is very smart; he understood what I was trying to say, even though I wasn’t using the right words and couldn’t express my self better. Thanks Edmundo!
