Nicole Frierson
Feeling anxious, stuck, or far from yourself and the people you love? You don't have to figure it out alone. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps women, couples, and older adults work through anxiety, depression, women's issues, and the big life transitions that shake everything loose. Divorce, a career change, an empty nest, a move: change can leave you feeling like you've lost your footing. Through my clinical work, I've sat with people during some of the hardest moments of their lives. I've also rebuilt my own life after moving from New York to Florida, so I know what it takes to stay steady when everything changes. I use evidence-based approaches and work with you collaboratively, shaping every session around your life and your goals. I also offer a gentle, paced approach to past and present trauma, so you never have to go faster than feels right. Together, we'll build strategies that truly fit you, so the change you make is real and it lasts. Wherever you are right now, healing is possible. Let's help you find your footing, rise with confidence, and build a life that feels like yours again, with someone fully in your corner.
First session
Our first session is simple and unhurried. I'll ask a few questions, and we'll take our time getting comfortable with each other as we talk through what brought you here and what you're hoping will feel different. By the end, you'll feel heard, supported, and have a simple plan for where we go from here.
Strengths
You deserve a therapist who is truly there with you. I bring a steady, caring presence to every session, along with a clear sense of direction based on what you need and an authentic, down-to-earth style. I offer a space where you don't have to explain yourself. I use research-backed tools and adapt them to your story and your pace
