LCSW, 3 years of experience
Hi, I’m Jenny, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I care deeply about helping people feel safe and settled inside again. I know how heavy anxiety, trauma, and past experiences can feel even when you look strong and put together on the outside. My style is warm, grounded, and real. I am trained in EMDR, hypnotherapy, and CBT, and I am a Certified Mindfulness-Informed Professional and a Clinical Trauma Professional Level II through Evergreen Certifications. We will talk, slow things down, and use deeper methods like EMDR and mindfulness to help your nervous system release what you have been carrying for too long. You do not have to keep pushing through alone. Healing is possible, and I would be honored to walk beside you as you create the peace you have been craving.
Our first session is all about getting to know you and understanding what you have been carrying. We will talk about what brings you in, what you have already tried, and how anxiety or past experiences are showing up in your life today. You can go at your own pace. Nothing is rushed. I will ask questions to help us get clarity and I will listen closely to what feels most important to you. We will explore what you hope to change and what relief would actually look like for you. You can ask anything you want about EMDR, mindfulness, hypnotherapy, or talk therapy. There is no pressure to be perfect or have everything figured out. By the end of the session, we will have a direction. You will not leave guessing what comes next. My goal is for you to feel understood, supported, and grounded as we begin this work together.
My greatest strengths are my ability to truly listen, to hold space without judgment, and to help clients feel safe enough to slow down and connect with what is really going on inside. I blend EMDR, mindfulness, and talk therapy in a way that is both gentle and effective, so you are not just talking about pain, you are actually processing it. I help you notice your body, your emotions, and your patterns with compassion rather than criticism.
My ideal clients are adults who are tired of holding everything together on the outside while still feeling anxious, tense, or overwhelmed on the inside. They are often people who have tried therapy before, but still feel stuck or unsettled. They want real change, not just coping skills, and they are open to deeper work like EMDR, mindfulness, and body-based processing. These are clients who are ready to understand themselves more fully, release what is no longer serving them, and move toward a calmer and more connected way of living.
My experience with CBT has equipped me to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. I regularly use CBT to support clients in managing depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges by building practical, actionable skills.
I have completed full training in EMDR, allowing me to guide clients through the process of reprocessing traumatic memories. This modality has been especially effective in helping clients reduce distress associated with past trauma and build resilience.
With comprehensive training recently obtained in hypnotherapy, I use this modality to help clients access subconscious thoughts and address issues like stress and anxiety. It’s a powerful tool for facilitating deep relaxation and self-exploration.
I use motivational interviewing by fostering a collaborative, nonjudgmental environment where clients explore their values, identify goals, and resolve ambivalence to empower meaningful change.
I use solution-focused brief treatment by helping clients identify strengths, set clear goals, and develop practical solutions, focusing on what works rather than dwelling on problems.

I chose Jenny, her voice was soothing to my ears. She allowed me the time to articulate my feelings without assuming where my thoughts were headed. She listened to understand me. She gave me the space to confide in my most authentic self. She listened with compassion and without judgment, offering the space to find the answers I had buried under years of self doubt. She has a gift and I am so grateful she is here for me.
