LMHC, 1 years of experience
I lead with a warm, supportive approach rooted in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention. I’ve worked with children, older adults, and families, using both family systems and cognitive behavioral techniques to support healing and growth. I value genuine connection and strive to empower my clients while linking them to meaningful community resources and support networks. I have more recently worked with older adults and their families to support life transitions and interpersonal challenges that may come with change.
In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, open space where you’re free to share at your own pace. I’ll invite you to talk about what brings you to therapy and how you'd like to benefit from our work together. This time is all about breaking the ice, getting to know each other, and beginning to build a connection rooted in trust, comfort, and mutual understanding.
What stands out about my approach is that I lead with compassion, authenticity, and flexibility. I believe that therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you’re free to be yourself and decide what healing looks like for you. My background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care helps me stay grounded and present, even when emotions are intense or situations feel overwhelming. I’ve had the privilege of working with children, older adults, and families, which has taught me how to meet people where they are — emotionally, mentally, and even generationally. I draw from family therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques when helpful, but always keep the focus on creating real, human connection. I’m passionate about helping clients not only feel better but also feel more connected to their communities and the resources that can support them beyond our time together.
I’m best positioned to support individuals and families navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, trauma, or strained relationships. Many of my clients feel stuck, isolated, or disconnected from their sense of purpose, and they’re ready to work toward meaningful change with compassion and guidance. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or stronger family connections, I offer a grounded, collaborative space where you can explore your experiences and move toward greater self-awareness and emotional resilience.
I have had experience with ACT for minors in individual and group therapy. I have also used ACT for individuals struggling with life transitions, grief or identity issues.
I have worked in several inpatient facilities where cognitive behavioral therapy was the main modality of treatment. I have created several treatment plans and worked in crisis stabilization. I use it in my practice by providing community support for patients with recent admissions to inpatient facilities, actively assessing for suicidality and teaching useful cognitive restructuring techniques to support healthy living. .
I have experience working with young adults and adolescents who have struggled with identity exploration and self-esteem. I continue to use humanistic therapy in my practice to support a growth mindset, foster insight and encourage self-exploration.
