About me

I am a therapist who is passionate about creating a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative space for clients to explore, heal, and grow. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities, and I value meeting each person exactly where they are in their journey. My approach is client-centered and grounded in openness, authenticity, and respect, while also incorporating gentle challenge when it feels helpful for growth. I believe therapy works best when there is honest communication and a strong therapeutic connection, and I strive to ensure our work together feels meaningful, aligned, and tailored to your unique goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a foundation for our work together. I’ll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and a bit of your personal history so I can better understand your experiences and goals. This is also a space for you to ask questions, share what you’re hoping for in therapy, and get a sense of whether we feel like a good fit. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel heard, respected, and at ease as we begin this process together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have experience working with clients from a wide range of backgrounds, including diverse genders, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and relationship dynamics. I take a client-centered, collaborative approach, creating a space that feels open, supportive, and free of judgment. My style is warm and approachable, while also offering gentle, thoughtful challenges when needed to help clients move through barriers and grow. I value honest, ongoing communication and regularly check in to ensure our work together feels aligned with your goals—because therapy should feel meaningful, supportive, and truly tailored to you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my practice, supporting clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. This approach supports clients in developing healthier coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and navigating everyday stressors more effectively.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have received training in DBT mindfulness and integrate these skills extensively into my clinical practice. I find DBT mindfulness techniques highly effective in helping clients navigate everyday life transitions and stressors, while increasing awareness of the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences.

Somatic

I incorporate somatic approaches into my clinical practice to help clients develop greater awareness of the mind-body connection. By attending to physical sensations and nervous system responses, I support clients in processing stress, enhancing emotional regulation, and improving overall well-being.

Gender-affirming therapy

I provide gender-affirming care within my practice, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals exploring or expressing their gender identity. I utilize a client-centered approach to help clients navigate identity development, social and medical transitions, and related emotional experiences.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness-based therapy into my practice, supporting clients in developing present-moment awareness and a nonjudgmental understanding of their thoughts and emotions. These approaches are effective in helping clients manage stress, enhance emotional regulation, and strengthen overall well-being.”
