LMHC, 9 years of experience
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, graduating from Nova Southeastern University, and have been in practice for nearly nine years. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, young adults, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. My work focuses on helping individuals through relationship changes, breakups, divorce, separation, grief, and loss. I also specialize in mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and borderline personality features, as well as concerns related to low self-esteem and body dysmorphia. In session, I utilize a blend of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, and Talk Therapy approaches to meet each client where they are. My goal is to provide a collaborative and compassionate space where clients can feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow. Together, we work toward emotional balance, self-awareness, and the confidence to create meaningful change.
In our first session, we’ll focus on building rapport and creating a comfortable, trusting space for open dialogue. I’ll ask thoughtful, relevant questions to better understand your goals, challenges, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Because I take a collaborative approach, exploring your expectations early on helps ensure our work together is meaningful, personalized, and aligned with your needs.
What stands out about my approach is the balance I bring between compassion and clinical direction. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and purposeful—a space where you feel genuinely understood while also gaining tools to create real, lasting change. In our work together, I focus on helping you make sense of the emotions and patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Whether you’re managing depression, anxiety, ADHD, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, or grief, I tailor each session to meet you where you are. My goal is to help you strengthen emotional awareness, develop effective coping skills, and rebuild confidence so you can navigate life with greater clarity and balance. I use an integrative approach that blends Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy—grounded in empathy, collaboration, and honesty. Clients often describe my style as warm, relatable, and grounded, with an emphasis on helping them feel safe enough to be open while still challenged to grow. The most rewarding part of my work is witnessing clients rediscover their inner strength—watching the shift from self-doubt to self-trust, from uncertainty to direction, and from emotional overwhelm to peace. Together, we’ll create a space where healing feels possible and progress feels attainable.
I’m passionate about working with clients who are navigating life transitions—whether that involves changes in relationships, careers, or living situations. I’m especially drawn to supporting individuals who are seeking to reconnect with themselves, rebuild confidence, and find direction during times of uncertainty. Many of my clients come to therapy to explore challenges related to self-esteem, anxiety, and depression, and together we work to uncover their strengths, restore balance, and foster personal growth.
I have found, utilizing one version on therapy treatment or methods are different for every client so incorporating worksheets and coping skills from a basket of helpful modalities is a must for me and my work with my clients.
