I'm Marisol, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience specializing in helping women navigate life transitions, heal attachment wounds, and rediscover their authentic selves. I graduated in 2007 with a master's degree in mental health and have dedicated my career to understanding how our early experiences shape who we become, and more importantly, how we can transform those patterns. My journey began working extensively with children impacted by trauma, utilizing EMDR and trauma-informed modalities. Through this work, I witnessed firsthand how attachment wounds form and the incredible resilience of the human spirit. What I discovered was profound: when mothers heal themselves and show up authentically, entire families transform. This realization shifted my practice focus entirely. Now I work exclusively with adult women, particularly mothers navigating midlife, who are ready to do the deeper work while also seeking practical solutions. My therapeutic style blends clinical expertise with a coaching mindset. I'm trained in trauma treatment and deeply understand childhood wounds, but I work in a strength-based, real, practical way that focuses on empowerment and growth, not pathology.

Hi, I’m Allison. Whether you’re feeling burned out, stuck in unfulfilling patterns, or having challenges in your relationships, therapy can help you recover and feel more grounded. Many of the people I work with are new to therapy. They may not have a specific diagnosis or crisis, but they know something feels “off.” Clients often tell me they feel comfortable opening up with me quickly. If you're feeling overwhelmed or disconnected, know that meaningful change is possible. Let’s work together to help you feel more content, empowered, and like yourself again. Clients often tell me they feel at ease opening up to me. Many feel relieved to have a therapist who offers active guidance, rather than just listening without direction. Finding relief and reconnecting with a sense of peace is more achievable than it might feel right now—and once you start, the process of change often unfolds more quickly than you expect. I approach therapy by looking at the root cause of problems, rather than focusing on one problem at a time. I work from a systemic perspective, which means we will dive into your personal relationships, behavior patterns, and lifestyle choices which are interconnected with the issues you may be facing. If you'd like to learn more about me and my therapy methods, feel free to visit my website at www.mindtalkhealing.com

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups from diverse cultural, economic, and ethnic backgrounds. My career has taken me across the U.S. and abroad—including New York City, California, and Dublin, Ireland—giving me a broad perspective on the many ways people navigate life’s challenges. Currently, I provide tele-therapy sessions through a HIPAA-compliant platform. Many of my clients have found this format especially helpful in balancing therapy with their busy or unpredictable schedules. My areas of expertise include working with issues related to gender identity, sexuality, and non-traditional relationships (including polyamory and open relationships). I also bring both clinical expertise and personal insight into the challenges that arise in connection with personality disorders such as Narcissistic, Borderline, Avoidant, and Antisocial Personality Disorders. In particular, I help clients process and heal from the emotional trauma that often accompanies relationships impacted by these dynamics. My approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and grounded in respect for each person’s unique experience. Whether you are seeking support around identity, relationships, or recovery from difficult past experiences, I provide a safe and affirming space where growth and healing are possible. Outside of my work as a therapist, I find joy in activities that keep me grounded and creative. I love traveling and exploring new places, tending to my garden, playing the piano, working out, and cooking. I also have a passion for interior design and creating welcoming spaces. Most importantly, I value quality time with my family, friends, and my dog, Batman, who always manages to bring a smile to my day.

I am a licensed mental health counselor based in Florida. I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to my work. I employ a collaborative approach that is infused with compassion and, when appropriate, a sprinkling of humor. I believe that therapy is a journey, and I am committed to walking alongside my clients as they work toward their goals. I do have a 15-minute expectation for session arrival. Once 15 minutes has passed and a client has not showed up or messaged me, the appointment is canceled and a no-show fee is charged.

I’m a licensed therapist who helps individuals heal from anxious attachment, trauma, and relationship challenges so they can build deeper self-trust and healthier connections. I work with clients who often feel stuck in cycles of people-pleasing, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm, and I guide them toward self-awareness, confidence, and alignment with their authentic selves. My approach is warm and empowering, and I integrate evidence-based practices like EMDR to help clients process past experiences, set boundaries, and develop a secure sense of self. My goal is to help you break free from patterns that no longer serve you and create a life that feels grounded, balanced, and fulfilling. In our work together, you’ll learn to move from survival mode to self-acceptance, finding clarity and peace as you step into your power.

My name is Karen (Kari) Rodriguez, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Florida and South Carolina. I have obtained a master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling with honors from Southeastern University. I am pursuing my doctorate in marriage and family therapy at National University, specializing in children and adolescent therapy. In therapy, I empower my clients to overcome the burden of their anxiety and/or depression symptoms to regain control over their lives. I am passionate about helping clients see positive outcomes in their lives through effective mental health treatment. Therefore, I have received training in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and Gottman Couples Therapy. I am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (C-DBT), I am a certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and I have training in Gottman Couples Therapy (Levels 1 and 2). I also utilize psychodynamic therapy and attachment-based therapy in treatment. I love mixing these approaches to get to the core of your struggles. Seeking therapy can feel scary, but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the ineffective behaviors that are holding you back. Let's work together!

You have taken the first step towards empowerment in your life by wanting to make a change! I have been where you are right now. I have experienced anxiety and irrational thoughts. I can totally relate to what you are going through. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Syndrome, an autoimmune disorder that mimics depression and bipolar, multiple sclerosis, and stage three chronic kidney disease. For a while, I never wanted to leave my house, get out of bed and found it difficult to face the day. I was able to overcome so many things and so can you. I always encourage my clients to get a medical check-up prior to mental health treatment to rule out any physical health symptoms.

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by Florida rather than a city like Tampa?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Florida from Miami to Jacksonville! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Florida.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

What are the "Clients say I'm" badges?

Grow Therapy asks patients about their experience with therapists after they have had a certain number of sessions. After enough responses, we add those characteristics to their profiles to help you find the best online therapists for you. We're still working on collecting this information from all our therapists.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What to expect during your first session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs.

Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
