Hi, I’m Amanda. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and safe to explore what brings you to therapy. My approach is holistic and compassionate, integrating evidence-based therapies while honoring your unique experiences and goals. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and difficulty with setting boundaries. Together, we’ll focus on healing, growth, and helping you reconnect with your strengths so you can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we’ll begin by answering any questions you may have about therapy or the process. From there, I’ll revisit what we discussed during your consultation call and begin a biopsychosocial assessment to better understand your experiences, history, and what brings you to therapy at this time. This session is collaborative, paced with care, and focused on helping you feel comfortable and understood.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the emphasis I place on creating a space where clients feel genuinely safe, understood, and supported. I became a Clinical Social Worker because helping people share their stories, express vulnerability, and feel truly seen gives me a deep sense of purpose. In my work, I focus on teaching practical, compassionate coping skills while offering empathy, validation, and a steady therapeutic presence. My goal is to be someone clients can trust; a grounded support as they navigate challenges, process emotions, and move toward meaningful growth. And as a side note, I am working towards becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are female and non-binary teens (16+) and adults who are genuinely interested in being in therapy and are ready to engage in the process as they navigate anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, time management challenges, communication difficulties, or difficulties setting healthy boundaries. I especially enjoy working with individuals who are motivated to make meaningful changes, explore patterns with curiosity, and move toward greater confidence, balance, and self-trust.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I incorporate attachment-based therapy by helping clients explore how past relationships and emotional experiences shape their patterns, self-worth, and connections today. Through a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship, we work toward healing old wounds, strengthening self-trust, and fostering healthier, more fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy by helping clients notice the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how these patterns may be impacting their wellbeing. Together, we build practical tools to shift unhelpful thinking, strengthen coping skills, and create more balanced, supportive ways of responding to stress and everyday challenges.

Compassion Focused

I use compassion-focused therapy to help clients cultivate kindness and understanding toward themselves, especially during times of self-criticism or emotional struggle. Together, we build self-compassion skills to reduce shame, strengthen resilience, and support emotional healing and personal growth.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I use emotion-focused therapy to help clients explore and understand their emotional experiences, uncovering underlying needs and patterns. Together, we process emotions in a safe, supportive space to foster healing, self-awareness, and more authentic connections with themselves and others.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness-based therapy by guiding clients to bring present-moment awareness and acceptance to their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we develop skills to reduce stress, manage difficult emotions, and foster greater calm, clarity, and balance in daily life.
