(she/her)
Hi, I’m Rayan, a licensed mental health counselor who’s passionate about helping people feel seen, understood, and supported. I specialize in working with Black clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, and burnout. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and culturally affirming. I believe in creating a space where you can show up fully—no masks, no judgment—as we work together to build insight, set boundaries, and reconnect with your inner strength.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll keep it short and focused on what brought you here and what you want to work on. I’ll also answer any questions you have about therapy or my therapeutic approach. This session is really about seeing if we’re a good fit to work together. There’s no pressure — it’s just a space for you to feel comfortable and decide if this feels right for you. Everything you share is confidential, and I’m here to support you in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.
Clients appreciate my kind, gentle, and attentive nature—I listen deeply and validate the unique challenges of being Black in America. With my trauma-informed care training, I bring a thoughtful, compassionate understanding to how past experiences impact present struggles. I provide clear psychoeducation to help make sense of behaviors and feelings, creating a real, flexible, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are. I’m here to support you with honesty, warmth, and authenticity.
I work best with clients who are ready to explore who they are beneath the roles they’ve had to play to survive. I especially enjoy supporting Black clients seeking a culturally aware, affirming space to unpack stress, reclaim boundaries, and reconnect with themselves. Whether you’re high-achieving and exhausted, questioning your purpose, or simply craving peace, you’re welcome here.
