I work extensively with people to assist them with improving relationships, work to improve management of anxiety, anger management while improving self-confidence, and self-esteem. I also work with depressive-based symptoms and teach coping and improved thought processes to create a lifelong change to your ability to meet your needs. Together, we will identify what's not working and get you back to a baseline that works for you. In our first session together, will start with brief introductions and then begin exploration of the specific challenges you are facing. As we are talking, I am developing a tailored plan for us to work through in each follow up session. You as the client are the focus and each goal and objective will be strength based for your future.
My strengths are in teaching skills to empower yourself to make the choices you feel are best for you. I work with populations with personality disorders, Autism, behavioral needs, anxiety depression, OCD, ODD and many other named issues. I have worked with Adults, teens, children, couples and families. I pride myself on being well-rounded in many areas and if I find I cant answer a question I research to be a better therapist. I also work hard to be what you need.
Each session will include some CBT based support to improve your thoughts and reactions to any situation.
