Welcome to your journey of healing and self-discovery. I am a trauma informed therapist who provides a holistic approach that honors your unique experiences and strengths. Whether you're facing challenges in relationships, repeating unhealthy patterns, or feeling overwhelmed by past trauma, I'm here to offer guidance and support. I believe that we are all fellow travelers on this journey through life, and sometimes we need support and guidance in navigating life's challenges or healing from trauma. Together, we'll embark on this journey of self-discovery and transformation.
Your first session is a welcoming space designed to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. We’ll start by gently exploring your personal history so I can get a fuller picture of your experiences and what has shaped you. We’ll also begin to talk about what brings you to therapy and identify some initial goals, knowing that these can evolve over time as we learn more about your needs.
My approach is grounded in a combination of modalities tailored to your needs, including EMDR, attachment theory, mindfulness, and trauma-focused therapies. I also work with couples using the Gottman Method. Together, we'll explore what resonates with you and best supports your healing and growth. I am committed to creating a non-judgmental environment where you can explore your emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and work towards meaningful personal growth. My goal is to empower you to build resilience, improve relationships, and discover your inner strength.
