Hello, I'm Adrienne Capeless (she/they) a licensed clinical social worker specializing in anxiety, grief and trauma with over ten years of experience working in the mental health field. I help individuals feel more connected, grounded, and empowered in their healing through a combination of talk therapy and body-based practices. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxious thoughts, navigating a painful loss, or working through trauma, I offer a compassionate and intuitive space for deep healing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a warm, collaborative space where nothing is too big or too small to share. I'll meet you where you are, whether you are struggling to regulate your nervous system, feeling stuck in old patterns, or you just want to feel more present. I incorporate psychoeducation with ancestral wisdom to help you understand what's happening in your brain and body, and we'll work together towards clarity, safety, and healing.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer a unique blend of grounded clinical training and intuitive insight. After working in most arenas in mental health as well as being a former owner of a mental health based gym, I feel that I bring a necessary combination of experience to my practice. My trauma informed, somatic approach is ideal for folks seeking a deeper kind of healing, one that honors the nervous system, the body, and the sacredness of your personal journey. Clients often say that they feel safe, seen, understood, more in control of their bodies, and more in touch with ancestral roots.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You might be a good fit for my practice if: ~You're managing anxiety and feel like your body is always on edge ~ You're struggle with chronic autoimmune challenges ~ You've experienced a loss that changed everything, and others do not seem to understand or you do not feel seen ~You've tried therapy before, but it felt too clinical, too fast, or disconnected from your body ~You're intuitive, sensitive, or spiritually curious, and want a therapist who gets that side of you.

The first session was very helpful. She identified a LOT of things to work on, but broke my "homework" down into manageable bits, got my buy-in and I'm excited to work with her. She also showed me two exercises to begin working on my strength.

Adrienne has been essential on my healing journey. She has helped me process some things that I havent been able to process before. She is genuinely supportive and so incredibly nice making appointments great and relaxing instead of stressful. I don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t met Adrienne she has genuinely saved my life.

My treatment methods

Mind-body approach

I offer a mind body approach that blends talk therapy with somatic work and intuitive tools. You might find relief not just in sharing your story, but also reconnecting with your nervous system. I often describe my work as witchy + intuitive psychotherapy, grounded in evidence, but led by your inner wisdom.

Trauma Informed Care

I work with gentleness and without judgement as we explore your experiences, as we all have a past. I've supported many clients through anxiety, panic, and hypervigilance as well as grief, burnout and trauma related reactions, illnesses and fatigue.

Grief Therapy

I believe grief is sacred. We can grieve people, pets, places, identities, and relationships. Each form of grief deserves a nonjudgemental space with empathetic witnessing. After experiencing parent and pet loss, I have profound compassion for others experiencing grief who need assistance and care.
