Hi, I’m Haley and happy to see you here! A little about me - an avid reader with furry pets (two cats to be exact). I have a passion for working with those who want to understand themselves better. I specialize in trauma, attachment wounds, depression, anxiety, self-harm and suicidal ideation, substance use, and eating disorder presentation. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and rooted in EMDR, motivational interviewing, and attachment-focused therapy to support meaningful, lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a calm, supportive space where we get to know each other and explore what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask about your goals, your history, and what has or hasn’t worked for you before—all at a pace that feels comfortable. You won’t have to dive into anything before you’re ready.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach blends EMDR, motivational interviewing, attachment-based therapy, and trauma-informed care to help you understand your patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and create lasting change. I balance compassion and directness, offering a space that is both validating and growth-oriented. Clients often share that they feel truly heard, supported, and able to make meaningful progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I support adolescents and adults who feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break—whether they’re navigating trauma, attachment wounds, depression, anxiety, substance use, eating-related struggles, self-harm, or guilt. I work well with clients who are motivated for change but may feel overwhelmed, ambivalent, or unsure where to start.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I incorporate EMDR to help clients process distressing memories, reduce emotional reactivity, recognize subconscious triggers, and build more healthy / adaptive beliefs about themselves. Through resourcing, bilateral stimulation, and gradual exposure to target experiences, I support clients in strengthening emotional stability while moving toward meaningful healing.

Attachment-based

I take an attachment-based approach by helping clients understand how early relational patterns shape current emotions, behaviors, and connections. In a secure and consistent therapeutic relationship, I support clients in developing healthier interpersonal boundaries, strengthening emotional regulation, and fostering secure attachment strategies.

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing to explore ambivalence, enhance intrinsic motivation, and empower clients to make values-aligned choices. By centering curiosity, collaboration, and autonomy, I help clients recognize their own strengths, build confidence, and move toward sustainable change.

Trauma Informed Care

My practice is grounded in trauma-informed care, emphasizing safety, choice, empowerment, and collaboration in every session. I remain mindful of trauma’s impact on the brain and body, pace interventions thoughtfully, and create a validating, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences without fear of reactivation.
