I am a board licensed therapist with over 12 years of experience. I received my Masters in Florida and am licensed at the highest level to practice independently. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, addiction treatment. I use a strengths based approach to help a client move forward with their goals and work through barriers to doing so.
In our first session together we will start with brief introductions and discuss what is currently going on. From there, we will craft a tailored plan to assist you.
Having worked with individuals for the past 12 years, I have a strong understanding of getting to the root of an issue and working through current barriers. I believe in a collaborative and a supportive relationship with people that will assist them with enhancing their strengths, engaging in meaningful life activities, and creating new abilities to achieve their desired life goals.
I enjoy working with people who are new or newer to therapy. I like to work with motivated clients. My clients are eager to improve but may not yet have the tools to do so.

I utilize CBT to help patients shift their thought patterns and negative perceptions.
I utilize DBT to assist with mindfulness and learning new coping skills and techniques to better manage symptoms. DBT can be very effective at making the unmanageable more manageable.
