Maybe you’ve gotten used to being the person who handles everything, takes care of everyone else, and keeps going even when you feel overwhelmed. On the outside, things may look like they’re going well, but internally you may be dealing with anxiety, overthinking, relationship stress, or feeling emotionally drained. You may also notice patterns that keep showing up, like difficulty setting boundaries, putting your needs last, people pleasing, or feeling responsible for everyone else. I work with women who want to better understand themselves and make meaningful, lasting changes. Together, we may look at what is happening now while also exploring how earlier experiences and relationships have shaped the way you see yourself, connect with others, and respond to stress. The goal isn’t to blame the past, but to understand what you learned along the way and decide what still fits the life you want today. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional, and EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist. I support women navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, difficult past experiences, and patterns they are ready to change. I also specialize in supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and the emotional changes that can come with these stages of life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. Therapy is a space to be yourself, talk openly, make connections, learn practical tools, and use approaches such as EMDR when appropriate. Together, we can work toward stronger boundaries, healthier relationships, greater confidence, and feeling more connected to yourself and the life you want.

I provide a supportive space where you can better understand what you’re carrying, begin untangling what’s keeping you stuck, and move toward greater clarity, stability, and emotional balance. I work with adults facing anxiety, addiction, depression, stress, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, family conflict, and mood-related concerns. Through online therapy, I help clients build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and develop practical tools that support healthier patterns and day-to-day functioning. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I create a space where you can feel heard, supported, and challenged in helpful ways while we work toward meaningful change. Hi there! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Florida. I provide an integrative, client-centered approach to therapy that prioritizes trust, collaboration, and emotional safety. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and individualized, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), among other integrative interventions. My clients are actively involved in treatment planning, goal setting, and selecting therapeutic strategies. If one approach does not resonate, we work together to explore alternatives that best support your growth. Throughout the process, I strive to balance compassion and unconditional positive regard with thoughtful challenges that encourage lasting change. Originally from Venezuela, I am bilingual and provide therapy in both English and Spanish. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University in 2014 and my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University in 2018. It never ceases to amaze me just how often I have to try to convince others that they are worthy SIMPLY because they exist. This includes you! I want to know who communicated to you that you are not enough and why you value the opinion of said person(s); these types of harmful beliefs are learned, not innate. Let's unlearn them together. Most of my early clinical work has been with children and adolescents with focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, trauma and various behavioral and emotional issues. I have worked in high-intensity and high-crisis environments from school to hospital settings. I am passionate about working with and creating a safe space for folks who belong to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. I understand that belonging to a marginalized/oppressed group can result in barriers to achieving and maintaining optimal mental health. I am a cis/het woman doing my best to provide care that is equitable and gender-affirming. I'm always learning and growing as an ally; you will always be safe here. I am also always looking at things through a trauma-informed lens. I'm a busy working parent who understands how hard it can be to do it all. I am currently pursuing a certification in treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders to be able to better support soon-to-be and new parents; this particular journey is no joke! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in helping adults heal from trauma, chronic stress, and long-standing survival patterns. Many of the people I work with grew up navigating environments where safety, emotional support, or stability were inconsistent, and those experiences can continue to affect relationships, self-worth, and the nervous system well into adulthood. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and practical. I integrate trauma-informed methods such as EMDR, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation to help clients move beyond survival mode and reconnect with a stronger sense of self. Therapy with me is a collaborative process. Together we work at a pace that feels safe while building the insight, resilience, and self-trust needed for lasting change. Underneath, you're exhausted, or you can't tell what you actually want anymore, or you react in a way that doesn't match the moment and replay it all night. Sometimes there's a clear event behind it. Sometimes a hundred smaller ones you never called trauma. This is what I've seen countless times in my 15 years of experience in the world of mental health. People don't heal because someone hands them the right insight. They heal when they can say the true thing out loud and not get managed, fixed, or flinched away from. I'm warm, I'm direct, and I won't be shocked by anything you tell me. Talking about what happened often isn't enough, because trauma lives in the nervous system as much as in memory. I use Internal Family Systems to help you get curious about the parts of you that took over because they had to; the one that overworks and shuts down. I add in DBT skills when you need something concrete, and somatic work to stay present without flooding. I use Solution-Focused Therapy on the days you need a concrete action plan. And other days, we will just allow our time together to unfold without a plan. Because the magic of therapy happens in the organic moments. You set the pace. To the incredible women seeking strength and healing: if you're yearning for empowerment, resilience, and a transformative journey, reach out. Let's navigate this path together. Your story is significant, and I am here to be your ally and guide. The first step toward healing begins with your outreach.

My goal is to empower my clients to embrace their various cultural backgrounds, gender identity, and sexual orientation to be their genuine selves and make space for themselves in their lives. Together we can achieve these and other goals through learning some helpful skills, but also by remaining open, curious and compassionate with ourselves.

You might be struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or the impact of past experiences. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-doubt, or a sense of being “behind” in life who are seeking meaningful, lasting change rather than quick fixes. I offer a supportive, collaborative space where we slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and identify practical, realistic steps forward at a pace that feels manageable. For those who are open to it, I also incorporate creative, art-based approaches to help explore and process emotions that can be difficult to put into words. Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I received my Masters from Saint Leo University and have over 20 years of clinical experience serving children, teens, adults, and families in a variety of settings: Community Mental Health and School Social Work. Especially helping clients with stress, relationship issues, parenting, family conflict, addictions (eating disorders and/or substance use), depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, low self-esteem, women's issues, trauma, behavioral concerns, and mood disorders. Be proud of yourself for taking the first step towards a better more rewarding life. It's not always easy to take time away from your hectic schedule to focus on your own wants and needs. However, the outcome can be incredibly rewarding! Together we can cultivate resiliency and bring balance back into your life. Using a holistic approach, I assist my clients to effectively face life challenges in a safe and connected environment. I also integrate mindfulness, yoga, and meditation into the session if my client is open to these practices.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Florida. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Florida from Miami to Jacksonville! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Florida.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need. For example, your selected specialty, Post Partum, is filtering therapists in Florida that work with patients with similar concerns.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
