About me

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 28 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges. I earned my Master's degree from Florida State University, where I trained in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, schools, assisted living facilities, and hospice care. These experiences have given me a broad perspective and the ability to support clients through many different stages of life and circumstances.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Taking the first step toward therapy is a personal decision, and it's natural to feel uncertain or overwhelmed at first. My goal is to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another. We'll review a brief personal history, discuss what has brought you to therapy, and explore your goals and what you hope to achieve. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether we're a good fit. I believe that everyone is on their own unique journey, and I will meet you where you are with compassion, empathy, and respect. I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and calming environment where you feel heard, valued, and supported every step of the way. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you as we build on your strengths and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I provide therapy from a strengths-based perspective, beginning where the client is.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with people who are ready to talk things through and figure out what’s really going on beneath the surface — even if they don’t have all the answers yet. My ideal clients might be feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or just “off” and want a space where they can be themselves without judgment. My approach is to begin where the client is and work at pace is comfortable and supportive.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I believe that no single method fits every client. By incorporating an eclectic approach to my sessions, I draw from multiple evidence‑based modalities rather than relying on just one. This allows me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
