In our first session, we will have a brief introduction and review some policies, legal information and talk about the foundation of the therapeutic relationship. Then we will complete or review a comprehensive biopsychosocial and come up with a tailored treatment plan that will help me have a better understanding of which areas or challenges you want to address in therapy.
Having worked with families in the communities and in correctional settings, I have gained the skills to help you identify your triggers and stressors. I have also developed the skills to help you manage your challenges and become the person you have always envisioned to be.
My approach is integrative as I do not believe in one size fits all. I combine various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. This therapeutic process is tailored to meet each individual's unique needs.
