Hi, I'm Aly! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor whose years of experience include time in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first session we review the informed consent and limits of confidentiality, and we complete an intake assessment that includes gathering background information about medical and mental health, life history and circumstances, relationships, and current symptoms. The process can seem daunting, so I try to create a warm, comfortable, and accepting environment, as well as provide space to ask questions and discuss any concerns.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with many different clients from all walks of life, I would say I am pretty good at adapting my approach to clients based on where they are on their journey and how I can best help them. I am an excellent listener, objective, nonjudgmental, and truly want to help others reach their full potential.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with young adults who are in the process of figuring out their goals and aspirations and what they want out of life. My clients are eager to improve, but may not yet have the tools needed to make their goals a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious. I am also passionate about working with women who are struggling with postpartum challenges as well as infertility.
