New to Grow
As both a therapist and yoga therapist, mindfulness is an important part of how I work, but my focus is always on you and your unique experience. I create a supportive space where you can slow down, gain insight into your thoughts and emotions, and begin to make changes that feel manageable, authentic, and aligned with how you want to live your life.
Your first session is a chance for us to connect and begin understanding what you are going through. We will talk about what has been weighing on you, what you would like to change, and what feels most important right now. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and more at ease by the end of our time together.
I have a strong ability to help clients connect what they are thinking, feeling, and experiencing in their body, which is especially important when working with anxiety and life transitions. As a yoga therapist and licensed counselor, I bring both mind and body awareness into the work. I help clients build insight, regulate emotions, and create changes that feel realistic and lasting over time.
Most of my work has centered around women experiencing anxiety, stress, and life transitions, including those navigating perimenopause, postpartum, shifting roles, or changes in identity. My clients are often high-functioning but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally reactive, and want to better understand themselves, regulate their emotions, and feel more grounded in their daily lives. Our work together is designed to help them develop healthier ways of coping and reconnect with themselves.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness-based therapy to support clients in managing anxiety, stress, and life transitions by increasing awareness of the mind-body connection. Clients learn to observe thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations without judgment, which helps reduce reactivity and improve emotional regulation. I often integrate mindfulness with cognitive and values-based approaches to support meaningful, sustainable change.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, where I prioritize building a safe, trusting relationship. I work collaboratively with clients, offering empathy and support while honoring their unique experiences and perspectives. This allows clients to explore challenges at their own pace and develop insight, self-acceptance, and meaningful change.
