I have an undergraduate degree in psychology (2001) and a graduate degree (2006) in professional counseling. With working 10 of those years in a hospital setting, I also have a decent handle on possible medical issues you might need to be referred for. After more life experience, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2016 and opened my private practice. I can't tell you all the answers to life's problems, but together we can come to what the best decision will be for you in particular. Your goals and values are worth exploring. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in North Carolina, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and a Trauma certified clinician, she has more than 15 years of experience providing mental health counseling to a wide variety of people. Prior to joining Teladoc, Beverly served as clinical director for a psychiatric hospital, as well as regional director for a community mental health agency. She spent more than 5 years working as a clinician with active-duty military members and their families at both Camp Lejeune and MCAS Cherry Point. Beverly is passionate about providing mental health care for those in need. A native of North Carolina, Beverly moved to the eastern part of the state in 2007 to enjoy the laid-back beach lifestyle.
