I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, I received my Master's degree from Florida Atlantic University, and I have been practicing for about 5 years. I help adults with a variety of concerns, from simply becoming a better and more effective version of themselves to struggling with mood or anxiety disorders, substance use or addiction, relational and attachment conflict, or educational and career stressors. I'll meet you where you are and we we can agree on your treatment goals based on what prompted you to seek therapy. 2024 is my 25th year as a social worker, clinical therapist, educator, supervisor, and leader committed to support vulnerable populations. My Social Work career was initiated by my passion to support those within vulnerable populations, specifically within the child welfare system. I began my career as a Social Worker working within the Child Welfare system in New York City. In 2003, I relocated to Charlotte, NC and continued my work within Child Welfare as a Child Protective Services Social Worker. In 2008, I obtained my clinical licensure which initiated my move from providing direct clinical services to children, young adults and families.
