(she/her)
I am a psychotherapist who helps teens and adults feel better by talking through what’s been hard and teaching ways to handle big feelings. I create a safe space where you can be yourself, talk about anything, and not feel judged. Sometimes, we look at how past experiences or relationships may be affecting how you feel now. If you’ve gone through something really scary or upsetting, I use gentle ways to help you feel safer and more in control again. My job is to help you understand what’s going on inside and give you tools to feel stronger, calmer, and more like yourself. If you want, we can include your faith and beliefs as part of the conversation too.
When we start therapy, we’re a team. At our first session, we’ll just talk and get to know each other. You can tell me what’s been going on, and together we’ll make a plan to help you feel better. I’ll help you understand your thoughts and feelings, and we’ll practice ways to deal with stress, big emotions, or anything that’s been hard lately.
My job is to help you go from feeling stuck or upset to feeling stronger, calmer, and more confident. You’ll always have a safe space with me where you can talk and feel heard without being judged.
I help teens and adults who feel really anxious, sad, overwhelmed, or who are going through big life changes. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a school counselor, so I understand what it's like to support people in tough moments. I’ve also had special training to help with really hard or scary memories in a safe and gentle way. When we talk, you’ll have a calm space where you can be yourself, feel understood, and learn new ways to feel better and more in control. I'm certified in Complex Trauma (CCTP) and trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a proven approach for processing painful memories. In our work together, you’ll find a safe, supportive space to feel seen, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.
I offer faith-integrated counseling for clients who wish to include their spiritual beliefs in the healing process. Christian counseling provides a safe and compassionate space where you can explore life’s challenges through both a clinical and biblical lens. Whether you're navigating emotional pain, relational struggles, or life transitions, I help you reconnect with your faith, find meaning in hardship, and apply spiritually grounded principles to promote healing and growth.
My approach is rooted in attachment theory, which recognizes how early relationships shape the way we connect with ourselves and others. In our work together, we explore how past attachment wounds may be influencing current patterns in your relationships, emotions, and self-worth. By fostering a secure and supportive therapeutic relationship, I help you experience healing in the here-and-now while building more secure, fulfilling connections in your daily life.
In solution-focused therapy, we concentrate on what’s working and build on your existing strengths to create meaningful change. Rather than spending sessions solely analyzing the past, we identify your goals and highlight moments when those goals already show up in your life—even in small ways. I’ll guide you in noticing patterns of success, fostering hope, and taking practical steps forward. This approach is especially helpful for clients who want to feel empowered, find clarity, and move toward resolution with a clear plan in mind.
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) ERP is a highly effective, evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and other anxiety-related conditions. In our work together, I’ll help you gradually face the thoughts, situations, or sensations that trigger anxiety—while gently guiding you to resist the urge to engage in the compulsive behaviors that temporarily relieve it. Over time, this process retrains your brain to respond with less fear and greater confidence. ERP is challenging but deeply empowering, and I’ll be there every step of the way to provide support, structure, and encouragement.
CBT is a structured, goal-oriented approach that helps you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. In our sessions, we’ll explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions—uncovering the beliefs that may be fueling anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. I’ll guide you in developing healthier thinking habits and practical coping strategies so you can respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. CBT is effective, empowering, and adaptable to many of the issues clients bring to therapy.
