LCSW, 2 years of experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with seven years of experience working with families and children in crises such as divorce, job loss, relocation, etc. I help my client (s) overcome any difficulty preventing them from becoming the best version of themselves. I have experienced significant life transitions and life lessons firsthand, which have provided me with the awareness and insight to become a better therapist for the individuals I assist.
In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions and see if we are a fit. Suppose we decide to proceed into working together. Then, we will discuss the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in the follow-up sessions. We will discuss progress in every session and make the necessary treatment adjustments.
Working with individuals and families for the last seven years has allowed me to develop a quick clinical judgment that helps my client (s) identify presenting issues/problems. As importantly, I immediately establish the appropriate evidence-based treatment plan and follow the progress with my client at every step of the clinical process.
As a clinician, I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and learning about them and their cultures of origin to serve them better. At the moment I only offer individual therapy to clients.

Always a pleasure speaking with you!
I customized the treatment plan/modality based on the client's needs. However, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) in my practice due to the extensive evidence-based research that indicates that CBT can effectively treat many disorders, such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, etc, and is effective.
