About me

Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have specialized training in treating anxiety, OCD, and depression. I work with teens and adults who feel overwhelmed by their thoughts and emotions, helping them build practical tools and coping strategies. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to understand themselves more deeply, reduce distress, and take meaningful steps toward feeling more confident, grounded, and in control of their lives. I believe that change is possible when clients feel heard, understood, and equipped with the right tools.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with a brief introduction and talk about what brought you to therapy. I'll ask some questions to better understand your current concerns, background, and goals. This helps me get a clear picture of how to best support you and begin creating a plan that fits your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I bring both structure and empathy to the process—helping clients feel supported while also guiding them with practical tools to manage anxiety, OCD, and emotional overwhelm. My training in evidence-based treatments allows me to personalize care while keeping your goals and progress at the center of our work.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, OCD, depression and life transitions. My clients are often insightful and motivated but feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, self-doubt, or fear. They want to feel more present, confident, and in control, but need the right support and strategies to get there.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive training and experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and related concerns. In my practice, I use CBT to help clients become more aware of unhelpful thought patterns and how these thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors. Through collaborative work, I guide clients in identifying cognitive distortions, challenging negative thoughts, and developing more balanced, realistic thinking. I also teach practical coping skills such as thought restructuring, emotion regulation, and problem-solving. CBT allows for measurable progress and empowers clients to take an active role in their healing.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

I have specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which I use as a primary treatment for individuals struggling with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and other anxiety-related conditions. My experience includes working in intensive outpatient and outpatient settings, where I supported clients in gradually facing feared thoughts, situations, or sensations while resisting the urge to engage in compulsive behaviors. In my practice, ERP is highly collaborative and paced according to each client’s readiness. Together, we develop a hierarchy of feared situations and work through exposures step by step, always with the goal of reducing avoidance and building tolerance for uncertainty and distress. I also help clients understand the cycle of obsessions and compulsions, and support them in learning to disengage from compulsive patterns in order to live a fuller, more value-driven life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I integrate Person-Centered Therapy into my practice by creating a warm, nonjudgmental, and empathetic space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a powerful tool for healing, and I prioritize genuineness, unconditional positive regard, and deep empathic understanding in every session. My approach is collaborative and client-led—honoring each individual’s autonomy, values, and unique perspective. I use this method to help clients build greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and confidence in their ability to make meaningful changes. Even when combining Person-Centered Therapy with more structured modalities like CBT, I ensure the therapeutic alliance remains at the core of our work together.
