I am a licensed marriage and family therapist based in FL. I received my Masters from Saint Mary’s College of California and have been practicing for 13 years. I have been trained in trauma informed care, and I am a certified clinical trauma professional. As a clinician I practice with a person centered approach. I have experience in working with adolescents, young adults, and families with a variety of mental health issues. I also have experience advocating and working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other traumas. I can provide treatment in English and in Spanish. As a clinician my main focus in treatment is helping the client heal, increase self compassion, and help gain a new healthy perspective of self.
In the first session, we will explore what is bringing you into therapy and identify treatment goals. My goal is to help create a safe environment for clients to express their thoughts and feelings. I will follow your lead!
I have worked with different populations throughout my 13 years of clinical experience. With this experience I have learned to hone my abilities to discern the root causes of my client’s issues and their triggers while collaboratively navigating solutions with them, always guided by a practice of empathy and unconditional positive regard.
I enjoy working with young adults who are going through exploration, growth, and self-discovery. It is exciting to help them navigate the transition into adulthood and to help them build and maintain meaningful relationships.
I have been trained in a person-centered approach, and trauma informed care. My sessions are client-centered, I help facilitate client’s self-exploration, insight and self-growth. I will always follow my client's lead and I want my client to feel comfortable and safe in our sessions. Trauma is a scary thing; however, I hope to allow my client to learn how to feel safe again throughout the therapeutic connection we are building.
