2024 is my 25th year as a social worker, clinical therapist, educator, supervisor, and leader committed to support vulnerable populations. My Social Work career was initiated by my passion to support those within vulnerable populations, specifically within the child welfare system. I began my career as a Social Worker working within the Child Welfare system in New York City. In 2003, I relocated to Charlotte, NC and continued my work within Child Welfare as a Child Protective Services Social Worker. In 2008, I obtained my clinical licensure which initiated my move from providing direct clinical services to children, young adults and families.
