I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with eight years of counseling experience, including two years of independent licensure. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals, couples, and families in navigating emotional and relational challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. I specialize in anxiety, stress management, and overall wellness, helping clients who may experience persistent worry, overthinking, tension, or difficulty managing life transitions. I offer a calm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their feelings, strengthen self-awareness, and develop effective tools for lasting change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
At our first session, we will start with brief introductions and then begin to explore the specific difficulties you're experiencing. This will help me create a tailored treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. My goal is to ensure that every client has the strategies they need to ameliorate their symptoms.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I involve clients in designing their therapeutic objectives, so each client can be a true collaborator in creating their own therapeutic process. My clients appreciate that I treat them as collaborators as we together design the needed therapeutic objectives. I have worked across a wide range of settings, including schools, community programs, mental health agencies, and varied telehealth platforms.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Each client has a unique situation and needs different personalized techniques—whether that's through individual therapy techniques, learning coping skills, or addressing workplace stressors. You and I will collaborate as we together design your therapeutic process by deciding what matters to you and what sources of wisdom are meaningful. I'm a raving fan of positive psychology. The emphasis of therapy should be collaborating, learning, and thriving to integrate significant therapeutic strategies.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is one of the most effective treatment techniques for learning cognitive strategies to ameliorate symptoms.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
As needed, I explain and discuss DBT interventions that have been evidenced to effectively mitigate symptoms.
Motivational Interviewing
I utilize techniques from motivational interviewing to discuss the client's behaviors and to determine the treatment plan.
