You have a great career, stable housing, your bills are paid (on time), maybe even running a household with kids, and you look like, to others, you have it all together. Yet you find yourself stuck in the “perfectionism,” “people-pleasing,” or “procrastination” tendencies. You look around at all you “have” and feel like you “should” be happy. Yet, there is this persistent feeling of not feeling fulfilled. No matter what accomplishment you achieve, there is “always” another and even when you do reach that next bar, the “good feelings” are short-lived. If you’re tired of being stuck in these same old cycles, you’re in the right place. Together we’ll explore the underlying roots of these cycles, leverage your strengths, and use tools to help you rewire your thinking styles to empower you to move forward with confidence and clarity.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Within the first session, we begin to establish trust and rapport. These are a must for any successful therapy! I get to learn more about you, your childhood, and some of your life-long patterns. We create a timeline of your life (all major life events) and then we begin to complete assessments - all which will better help you gain insight and better identify what areas of your life you really want to focus on within therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

When we work together we will combine a structured form of therapy with the inclusion of holistic, somatic-based techniques that allow you to: physically release stored emotions and tension from the body; Identify, challenge, and change the unhelpful thinking patterns that are perpetuating the dis-ease in your life; and create a successful plan to maintain the healthy changes achieved in therapy. I have extensive experience in facilitating women break free from inherited and self-imposed psychological "chains," allowing them to create an authentic and secure, relationship with themselves and the people in their lives. Additionally, I have worked with adults in helping them heal from trauma-related anxiety and depression; allowing them to create healthy relationships and live their fullest potential feeling calm and confident. Something that sets me and my approach apart from other's is that I incorporate a a very structured and strategic style within the therapeutic space. I work with clients who really want to "study" themselves and understand themselves better - so that they can make INTENTIONAL and LONG-LASTING changes.
