I hear you. You've been going through the motions, avoiding pain, sometimes barely hanging on, and trying to live a "normal," happy life. But, repeating invisible patterns or your past keeps creeping up and interrupts your hopes and goals, negatively impacts your day to day life, and creates relationship struggles. A childhood trauma might be coming up or a more recent stressful or traumatic event, or maybe something you might not describe as traumatic is inserting itself into your well being. Either way, your life isn't going the way you want it to. I can help you heal from the past and move beyond the experiences that are wreaking havoc on you, so that you can have the life and future that you want and deserve.
Reaching out to a therapist can feel scary, embarrassing, even shameful, but you're tired of not living. You are ready to move forward, beyond the pain, sadness, fear, and difficulty that has been in your life so far. It's time to reach out.

It can seem difficult to believe we can overcome our challenges. We can feel like an instance, situation or moment defines us. It is possible to break free from this thinking.
For several years I have been working with clients to address self-esteem, depression, anxiety, addictions, relationships, job problems and loss. It is rewarding for me to provide hope that distress in these areas can be alleviated. My passion is assisting clients to reach their goals.
In my practice I have noticed EMDR reduce symptoms. EMDR is not only used for trauma, it can be used for dysfunctionally stored information. When using EMDR (tapping) I find change occurs rapidly and my clients are hopeful about moving forward. Clients are able to effectively manage symptoms and make decisions that benefit themselves and those they love.
Through my study of neuroscience, I’ve learned the nervous system can help heal clients. Considering the mind, brain, and body are all connected and influence one another, powerful change can occur during the therapeutic process. The brain is developed in a way with the potential for change in various ways. I use interventions associated with the ability to change the brain, such that can alter brain pathways and networks to help treat trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction. These skills will promote healthy recovery in the brains for those experiencing trauma, anxiety, addiction, and depression. Each session is an opportunity to change and grow.
It is unfortunate that we experience difficulties which weigh down our ability to advance in life. It is my desire to work with my clients so they can move past their obstacles. Having personally experienced road blocks of my own, I am empathetic to the struggle of moving past adversity. Let's work together at achieving your goals.
Hello and welcome!
My name is Cristina. I specialize in treating trauma and have used evidenced based modalities, such as EMDR to treat trauma related symptoms. I am in the process of obtaining my perinatal mental health certification through PSI (Postpartum Support International). I approach mental health as holistically as possible, exploring components of the mind, body and spirit to address healing. I like to work with you collaboratively to create goals and explore which areas of healing are necessary for you. I take a client-based approach and aim to make the space feel safe and a place where you feel comfortable to open up and share.
We all deserve to feel seen and heard, and I hope that is your experience with me!
I look forward to meeting you!

Hi there, I'm Alicia.
Are you feeling lost or stuck in some aspect of your life and finding it hard to move forward? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? With your permission, I help to hold the container for deeper exploration and healing.
I am a trauma-focused therapist, certified in EMDR and trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I’m originally from Southern California, the traditional homelands of the Tongva (Gabrielino) and Chumash peoples, and I’m now based in Colorado, on the ancestral lands of the Arapaho, Ute, and Cheyenne peoples. I offer virtual individual therapy to clients in both states.
I believe that each of us possesses an internal source of wisdom that can be cultivated through psychotherapy, psychedelic medicines, meditation practices, yoga and other connecting practices that link the brain, body and spirit.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in mindfulness, compassion, curiosity, and respect. I often draw from concepts rooted in Buddhist psychology and contemplative traditions. I frequently incorporate EMDR as an evidence-based method for working with both acute and developmental trauma, along with parts work (IFS). I am attentive to the impact of a person’s social, physical, and cultural environment, as well as systems of oppression. Clients describe my approach as warm, relational, collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed.

Welcome!
My name is Nathan Taylor and I’d like to thank you for taking the time to look over my profile and to learn a little about me as a therapist. Choosing a therapist can be challenging (and maybe even more than a little anxiety provoking!) and it is important to take the time to find someone that you feel may be a good fit to work with towards helping you achieve your goals in therapy. With that in mind, I wanted to share a little about myself and my own path as a therapist. Should you feel like we may be a good fit, I genuinely look forward to meeting and hopefully working with you.
Each of our own personal experiences, dreams, goals, hopes, and needs, both in life and in therapy are unique and individual. You may know exactly what those are for you, or you may feel like you are lost and overwhelmed. Either way, my role is to help you along your own path. To help define what you are struggling with and to take the steps that are needed to work through those struggles and challenges. Whatever your reason is for seeking therapy, know that it can be an incredibly valuable tool towards finding what it is that you are looking for.
I’ve been in the mental health field in one way or another for well over 20 years, working with children, families, couples, and adults, both in the public sector and in private practice. While I started my career working with children in group homes, foster care, and in the legal system, my passion as a therapist has taken me in many directions. I’ve worked for many years as both a clinical supervisor for new and learning therapists and as an upper-level manager/administrator in the public mental health sector. Most recently, in addition to my work in private practice I ran several types of community mental health programs, both outpatient and inpatient, for a large behavioral health company providing mental healthcare to adults. I became a licensed therapist in 2008, yet I’m constantly learning, growing, and developing every day in order to become the best therapist that I can be. It’s my belief that it is an honor and privilege to work with people as a therapist to help each person in the way that they need.
Over the years, I’ve received several advanced trainings and certifications that I’ve pursued to obtain the skill sets needed to specialize in a few areas that I believe are tremendously effective and helpful to those I work with. I’ve found that EMDR, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Hypnotherapy are the types of therapy work and interventions that are not only backed by research as highly effective, but also really resonate with those that I work with. As with anything in therapy, there is no one-size fits all approach, and I find it most valuable to help create a treatment approach in complete collaboration with you.
As an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained therapist, I've found this evidenced-based approach to therapy to be particularly effective with people for a wide variety of reasons, and as such EMDR is my current primary specialty. As EMDR therapy has gained a significant amount of positive attention lately, this may be something you're familiar with, heard about and would like to know more, or it's all together new to you. I'd be more than happy to share additional information with you about EMDR should you be interested in learning more.
Again, thank you for taking the time to learn a bit more about me. You’ve found the courage to get this far, let’s see how much further we can get together!
Life comes with challenges. Whether you are faced with difficulties in managing stress, anxiety, depression, and/or wish to overcome trauma, seeking therapeutic assistance is a healthy step toward evolving into a better version of yourself.

Hello, my name is Amber. I specialize in working with individual clients with the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR is a psychotherapy which focuses on healing the brain from past traumas and negative experiences. These past traumas can and do affect many aspects of our well-being, including the relationship with ourself and others. Many suffer with PTSD and other anxiety and depressive conditions which are impacted by past experiences. EMDR provides a gentle, faster-acting therapy to support recovery with research on EMDR showing evidence of permanent brain changes. Please feel free to learn more at emdria.org. I integrate other evidence-based therapies into our sessions as well, customized to each client's treatment plan/goals/needs. My private practice is focused on working with individual clients at this time. Coming to therapy can be intimidating, and here at North Bay EMDR Therapy I provide a warm and nurturing online safe space for us to work together toward your recovery and healing goals. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. I'm looking forward to hearing from you, so we can get started in facilitating the changes you would like to make through psychotherapy and EMDR.
Hi, I’m Leila — a trauma-informed therapist who blends evidence-based tools with deep human understanding.
If you’re feeling stuck in self-doubt, overthinking, relationship patterns you can’t shake, or a lingering sense that something is off deep inside — you’re not broken. You’re just carrying more than your nervous system was designed to hold alone. And I’d be honored to help you begin releasing it.
My approach goes beyond surface-level talk therapy. I integrate EMDR, somatic techniques, inner child work, and attachment-based healing to help you access what traditional coping tools can’t always reach — the root of your pain.
Many of my clients struggle with anxious attachment, chronic self-criticism, or feeling like they have to “perform” for love, worth, or belonging. Therapy with me is a space to shed those roles, meet yourself with compassion, and slowly rebuild a life rooted in clarity, confidence, and real inner peace.
I welcome humor, spiritual insight, raw honesty, and the full complexity of who you are. Let’s get to work — not to fix you, but to free you.
