I’m a trauma-informed therapist in California who works with adults who appear successful on the outside but are experiencing internal overwhelm, anxiety, or emotional fatigue. I combine Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family System (IFS) and somatic therapy with a holistic approach that supports both psychological understanding and nervous system regulation. Many of my clients are navigating demanding careers, family responsibilities, or major life transitions while quietly carrying unresolved emotional burdens. I provide a grounded space to slow down, process what’s underneath, and build a more centered, sustainable relationship with yourself.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll create a relaxed, supportive space to talk about what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping for. My hope is that you leave feeling seen, supported, and with a sense of relief and clarity.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What makes my approach unique is how I integrate the latest research in neuroscience with spiritual wisdom and mind-body healing. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in neuroscience and health research, and I bring that scientific grounding into every session. At the same time, I draw from my training in spiritual counseling and integrative practices to help you reconnect with your inner resilience, intuition, and sense of purpose. My own healing journey has taught me that we all have the capacity to grow, even in the face of difficulty. Therapy with me is not about fixing you—it's about helping you come home to yourself with more clarity, compassion, and ease. If this resonates with you, I’d be honored to support you!
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Many of my clients are thoughtful, deeply feeling people—often caregivers, professionals, or perfectionists—who seem to manage life well on the outside, but inside feel overwhelmed, depleted, or disconnected from themselves, their bodies, or others. Some may have tried therapy before but didn’t quite get to the root of what’s going on. Others may be carrying something that feels too big to face alone. My goal is to help my clients to slow down, listen deeply, and move toward healing in a way that feels safe, empowering, and deeply supportive.
EMDR
My EMDR approach integrates standard protocols with careful attunement to pacing, ensuring clients can safely process distressing memories and build adaptive resilience.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I draw heavily from this theory, which views the mind as multifaceted, made up of various personality "parts," many operating outside conscious awareness. By helping clients recognize and understand these parts, some of which rely on maladaptive coping, they gain the power to shift behaviors. For example, if you struggle with procrastination, understanding the parts behind it can lead to real change.
Transpersonal
Trauma often sparks deep questions about life’s purpose and meaning. I’m honored to support clients through these existential and spiritual explorations. My approach draws from depth psychology, which explores the unconscious and the symbolic patterns shaping our lives, as well as ancient wisdom traditions like shamanic practices and yogic teachings. With a master’s degree from a theological seminary, I deeply appreciate the many ways we seek and define meaning.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
My DBT training allows me to equip clients with practical coping skills to navigate relationships and manage intense emotions. I also provide helpful worksheets and handouts that offer clear, actionable strategies for lasting change.
Mind-body approach
As a holistic therapist, I see healing as an integration of mind and body. Research shows that our nervous system, emotions, and physical health are deeply interconnected—something I’ve witnessed firsthand through my years in clinical research on neuroscience, brain health, and oncology. Practices like meditation, breathwork, mudras, and mantra chanting aren’t just ancient traditions; they are scientifically backed methods that help regulate the nervous system, rewire the brain, and promote deep healing.
